The Trustees of the California State University will receive Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) in the Administration Bldg, Room 116 at the address below, for furnishing Construction Manager Services at Risk with a Guaranteed Maximum Price (CM at Risk) for the construction of the University Towers and Cafeteria Renovation, for San Diego State University.

The CM will be selected using a two-step process. The first step is this Request for Qualifications (RFQ). The University will score SOQ submitted in response to this RFQ and will select a maximum of the five highest scoring firms to continue in the selection process.

In general, the scope of work consists of providing preconstruction services and construction management/ administration services at risk with a guaranteed maximum price (GMAX) for the construction of the project, in accordance with the RFP (Model and Guidelines ).

SOQ DUE DATE: Tuesday, July 24, 2012, 12:00 p.m.

The estimated construction cost is $7,100,000.00

Notice is hereby given that the Board of Education of the LAKESIDE UNION SCHOOL DISTRICT, Lakeside, CA, acting by and through its governing board, will receive sealed bids for the furnishing of all labor, materials, transportation, equipment, and services for the PORTABLE BUILDING MOVES AND PLAYGROUND IMPROVEMENT PROJECT at 2 school sites in Lakeside, CA. Value of contract is estimated at between $600k & $700k.

Each bidder shall be a licensed contractor pursuant to the Business and Professional Code and shall be licensed in the following classification: B.

Each bid must conform and be responsive to the contract documents. WAGES: The Director of the Department of Industrial Relations has determined the general prevailing rate of per diem wages in the locality in which this public work is to be performed for each craft, classification, or type of worker needed to execute the contract. Each bid shall be submitted on the bid form provided in the bid documents. Each bid shall be accompanied by a satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the bidder and surety company, or certified check, or cashier's check in favor of the Lakeside Union School District, or cash, in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the bid. Said Bid Bond shall be given to guarantee that the bidder will execute the contract as specified, within three (3) working days after the notification of the award of the contract to bidder. Payment and Performance bonds shall be required.

For Interstate 15 Corridor

The San Diego Association of Governments (SANDAG) is soliciting Proposals from qualified firms to develop a smart phone solution to provide traveler information to members of the public along the Interstate 15 corridor. The project includes the application of technology that will allow travelers to attain personalized and real-time multi-modal traveler information on travel choices, travel routes, and other 511 related information along the I-15 corridor.

This project is funded in part with Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) funds. The UDBE goal for this project is 2.5 percent.
