The County of San Diego Department of Planning and Land Use invites qualified individuals to submit a Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) to be placed on the County of San Diego CEQA Consultants List for Privately Initiated Projects for the following subject area: Environmental Impact Report (EIR) Preparer
. The County of San Diego intends to select multiple individuals for its CEQA Consultants List. In accordance with the County's CEQA Guidelines, all technical studies and environmental impact reports (EIRs) for privately initiated County projects must be prepared by a consultant on the County CEQA Consultant List. Selection of listed consultants is projected for August 2006.

The County of San Diego, Owner, invites sealed bids for GOODAN RANCH FIRE RECOVERY PROJECT; PROJECT NO. 1007477 (RFB 1517).
Sealed bids will be received at the Office of Purchasing and Contracting, Building 11, County Operations Center, 5555 Overland Avenue, San Diego, California, 92123, until 2:00 p.m. on JULY 12, 2006,
at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud. A pre-bid
meeting is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. on June 27, 2006
at the project site, Sycamore Canyon/Goodan Ranch Preserve, 16281 Sycamore Canyon Road, San Diego, CA 92071 (Thomas Guide Pg. 1211/C7). All Contractors meet at Upper Staging Area to park. Contract documents may be examined or purchased for the sum of $50.00 per set at the Office of Purchasing and Contracting. Contractor license requirement is A, General Engineering Contractor; or B, General Contractor. Cost estimate of construction is $1,300,000 to $1,500,000. Bid security of no less than 10% required at time of bid. Successful bidder shall provide Payment and Performance Bonds for 100% of the contract amount. Prevailing Wage rates apply.
