The work generally consists of catenary improvements to balance weight assemblies, down guy assemblies, and repairs to concrete poles for the San Diego Trolley Light Rail Transit system along the Blue Line. The scope of work includes rehabilitating and adjusting existing balance weight assemblies, replacing stainless steel wires on balance weight assemblies, repairing cracked concrete poles, replacing down guys assemblies, installing down guy foundations, and procuring all materials and performing all other work necessary to complete the work in accordance with the Project LRT-1141300 plans and Special Provisions. The Engineer’s Estimate for this work is $932,000.

Notice is hereby given that proposals will be received by the North County Transit District at NCTD, 810 Mission Avenue, Oceanside, CA 92054, up to 4:00 P.M., Tuesday July 25, 2006.

Project Description
  NCTD wishes to partner with a company that can provide public wireless Internet access and other related Internet based customer amenities on board the Coaster commuter rail between Oceanside and San Diego, CA. NCTD is also looking for the option to provide seamless wireless Internet access at each of its 8 Coaster stations along the same route. If deployment of these services is successful, NCTD would like the option to expand some or all of these services to the planned Sprinter rail and its associated stations between Oceanside and Escondido, CA.This description is for general information.  The Scope of Work section in this RFP provides a complete and detailed description of the project scope.

The Santa Fe Irrigation District (District) is requesting proposals from qualified firms to provide Engineering Design Services for the District's Capital Improvement Projects. This will be an initial three (3) year agreement with the option of two consecutive one (1) year agreements. The District is located at 5920 Linea del Cielo, Rancho Santa Fe, California 92067.
DESCRIPTION OF WORK: In general, the consultant shall perform professional engineering design services for various District capital projects. This is on an “as-needed” basis with an initial three (3) year agreement and having the option of two consecutive one (1) year agreements. Services required under this agreement include preliminary design review, final design, bidding assistance, and engineering support during construction. The scope of work does not include construction management or environmental services.
