Engineer's Estimate for the base bid is $375,000 to $425,000.
Engineer's Estimate for additive alternate A is $120,000 to $130,000.
Engineer's Estimate for additive alternate B is $100,000 to $110,000.
Classification of valid contractor's license which the Prime Contractor must have at the time of bid and contract award: A or C-42. No bid will be awarded to a Contractor who is not licensed in accordance with the provisions of Chapter 9, Division 3 of the Business and Professions Code.
A pre-bid meeting is scheduled for 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, July 10, 2012 , at The City of La Mesa Conference Room, 8130 Allison Avenue, La Mesa, CA 91942. Bids will be submitted in sealed envelopes upon the blank forms of proposal furnished by the City. The City Council of the City of La Mesa, in accordance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (78 Stat. 252) and the Regulations of the Department of Commerce (15 C.F.R., Part 8), issued pursuant to such Act, hereby notifies all Bidders that it will affirmatively insure that the contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement will be awarded to the lowest responsible Bidder without discrimination on the grounds of race, color, or national origin.
All bids will be compared on the basis of the Base Bid.

The San Diego Workforce Partnership, Inc., (Workforce Partnership) has issued a Request for proposals (RFP) for Audit Services for the fiscal year July 1, 2012 to June 30, 2013, with an option for contracting for up to two additional years.

The Workforce Partnership intends to contract with an independent public accounting firm to perform an audit of the Workforce Partnership's financial statements, an audit in conformance with the Single Audit Act of 1984 and the Single Audit Act Amendments of 1996 (including the U.S. Office of Management and Budget (OMB) Circular A-133 Compliance Supplement), to perform a Program Specific Audit, to provide general ledger accounting technical assistance and to prepare tax returns

The period of performance will be October 1, 2012 through June 30, 2013, with the Single Audit and tax preparation on fiscal year ending June 30, 2012, and technical assistance provided during the contract. The total budget in FY 11-12 was $36.5 million.

The Workforce Partnership serves as both the grant recipient and administrative entity for the Workforce Investment Act (WIA) and other federal and state job-training funds in San Diego County, California. The Workforce Partnership currently has an internal operating budget of approximately $3.4 million, a direct program support budget of $4.2 and contract budget of $28.9 million. There are 31 operating grants, 18 of which are Federal awards, and provide 97% of the Workforce Partnership's funding. A listing of specific grants and funding amounts can be found at

NOTICE INVITING PROPOSALS FOR VENDED MEALS

1.Notice: Notice is hereby given that the Board of Trustees of America’s Finest Charter School (AFCS), hereinafter referred to as AFCS, is requesting proposals for vended meals for the food service program.

No offer of intent should be construed from this legal notice that AFCS intends to enter into a contract with the interested company for vended meals unless, in the sole opinion of AFCS it is in the best interest of the AFCS to do so. AFCS reserves the right to negotiate final contractual terms with the successful company.

1. Submittal: Written proposals must be sealed and filed with AFCS at the address shown above no later than Friday, February 3, 2012 at 2:00 p.m., and will be opened in public at that time.

2.Withdrawal: Companies may not withdraw proposals for a period of sixty (60) days after the date set for opening of proposals.

3. Rejection: The AFCS Board of Trustees reserves the right to reject any and all proposals and to waive any irregularity therein. Proposals will be studied and a recommendation will be made to the Board of Trustees at its regular meeting.
