Sealed bids, addressed to the City of La Mesa, 8130 Allison Avenue, La Mesa, California, will be received at the City Hall Information Counter until 11:00 am, Tuesday, June 17, 2014, at which time they will be publicly opened, for furnishing plant, labor, material, and equipment and performing all work required for:
Annual Concrete Maintenance Project, including Concrete Sidewalk,
Curb Ramp, Curb and Gutter, Driveway Apron, and Cross Gutter at
Various Locations;

and all appurtenant work necessary for the proper construction of the entire contemplated improvements in the City of La Mesa under Bid No. 14-14, in accordance with the terms and provisions of the specifications therefore which are of file in the office of the City Engineer, located in City Hall at 8130 Allison Avenue, La Mesa, California, 91942, Telephone Number 619.667.1166, Fax Number 619.667.1380.
Classification of valid contractor's license which the Prime Contractor must have at the time of bid and contract award: A or C-8. No bid will be awarded to a Contractor who is not licensed in accordance with the provisions of Chapter 9, Division 3 of the Business and Professions Code.
A pre-bid meeting is scheduled for 11:00 am, Wednesday, June 11, 2014 , at the City of La Mesa, 8130 Allison Avenue, La Mesa, CA 91942.
The Engineer’s cost estimate is $250,000 for this project.
Bids will be submitted in sealed envelopes upon the blank forms of proposal furnished by the City. See Information for Bidders and other contract documents for bidding procedure and other requirements of said bid.

Bids shall be made in accordance with the prevailing hourly rate of per diem wages for this locality and project as determined by the Director of Industrial Relations pursuant to Labor Code Section 1770 et seq., a copy of which is on file with the City Engineer at 8130 Allison Avenue, La Mesa, in accordance with the provisions of Labor Code Section 1773.2, which prevailing hourly rate of wages is made a part of this notice by reference as though fully set forth herein. The City Council of the City of La Mesa, in accordance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (78 Stat. 252) and the Regulations of the Department of Commerce (15 C.F.R., Part 8), issued pursuant to such Act, hereby notifies all Bidders that it will affirmatively insure that the contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement will be awarded to the lowest responsible Bidder without discrimination on the grounds of race, color, or national origin.
All bids will be compared on the basis of the Base Bid.
The particular attention of prospective Bidders is hereby directed to the applicable sections in the specifications for full directions and requirements as to submittal of bids, bonds, insurance, and agreements.

The San Diego Tourism Marketing District Corporation (SDTMD Corp.) seeks to engage a full-service audit firm, with extensive experience in providing accounting and tax services for not-for-profit organizations within City of San Diego, to provide the Corporation with required audit services. To this end, the SDTMD Corp. announces a Request for Proposal (RFP) from qualified professionals that will have the following characteristics:

--- Office located in the City of San Diego;
--- A demonstrated audit experience with high profile not-for-profit clients;
--- A proven track record of objective and highly credible work in auditing tourism
impacts and hotel metrics;
--- Can demonstrate practical original research capabilities;

SCOPE OF WORK:
The objective of the financial audit is to obtain an opinion about whether the SDTMD Corporation financial statements are fairly presented, in all material respects, in conformity with U.S. generally accepted auditing standards including compliance verification with the SDTMD’s operating agreement with the City of San Diego.

The objective of the SDTMD benefit audits is to design and implement an effective procedure to audit the TMD benefiting hotel list for SDTMD Corporation contracted events. The methodology will include an annual report of results. The scope of work includes but is not limited to:
--- Testing TMD grant recipients’ benefit outcomes on at least an annual basis;
--- Preparing an annual report of results;
--- Co-ordination with the City of San Diego and SDTMD staff to provide ongoing
systems refinements;

Security & Infrastructure Upgrade Project

YWCA of San Diego County invites sealed bids from licensed, qualified Contractors to provide labor and materials necessary to update the cable infrastructure and security system including installation of a new cabling infrastructure, access control system, video surveillance system, wireless system and relocation of server room.

This project is funded by federal Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds and the entire project is subject to Davis-Bacon Wage Determination (PREVAILING WAGE and CERTIFIED PAYROLL); and Section 3 of the Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Act [12 U.S.C. 1701u and 24 CFR Part 135]. Bids from small, minority-owned, disabled, veteran-owned, women-owned and local businesses are strongly encouraged.

PURSUANT TO EDUCATION CODE SECTION 17469, NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on May 20, 2014, the Board of Education of the Santee School District (“District”) authorized the publication and distribution of a Request for Proposal (“RFP”) for
Wireless Infrastructure - Acquisition and Installation of Ruckus Wireless Networking Equipment. It is the intention of the District to purchase, install and implement a Ruckus Wireless network through an RFP process.

The scope outlined in the RFP must include, but are not limited to:

Hardware Section – this should be a proposal for your cost of the hardware/software involved in the implementation. It should be inclusive of on-site delivery of all
hardware, software and site logistic management.

Installation Section – this should be a proposal for your cost to prepare and install wireless access points in classrooms at all district/school sites

Implementation Section – this should detail the implementation and configuration of the wireless networking equipment and peripherals. It should be inclusive of physical onsite setup, configuration, testing, roll out and training.

Support Section – this should detail the technical support options available after
deployment.

a. All proposals must be submitted on the Proposal Form included in this RFP.
b. Proposals may be modified or withdrawn (prior to response deadline) by written
notice or in person by the Respondent or its authorized representative, provided
that person’s identity is disclosed on the envelope containing the proposal and
suchperson signs a receipt for the proposal.
c. Request for interpretation on any aspect of the RFP must be made in writing,
preferably via email, to Bernard Yeo (bernard.yeo@santeesd.net). No oral
interpretation shall be made by any Respondent as to the meaning of the RFP.
Any oral communication will be considered unofficial and non-binding on the
District.
d. Proposal response to the RFP must be received at the Santee School District,
9625 Cuyamaca Street, Santee, CA 92071 by Monday, June 16, 2014 at 4:00
p.m.


The RFP may be obtained by navigating to the Technology Services Department on the District’s website (www.santeesd.net) or by contacting the District at
(619) 258-2246. Submittal of the RFP must be delivered to the District by Monday, June 16, 2014, no later than 4:00 p.m. addressed to the attention of Bernard Yeo, Santee School District; 9625 Cuyamaca Street, Santee, CA 92071 and marked on the outside "Ruckus Wireless Network RFP Response." Submittals that are not received at the designated addresses on or before the specified deadline will not be accepted, unless the delivery deadline is waived by the District, at its sole discretion.

After review of Submittals, the District, in its sole discretion, may invite one or more Respondents to participate in subsequent interrogatory processes or may choose to not proceed with the sale and purchase of the network equipment.
