The County of San Diego, Owner, invites sealed bids for TRAFFIC SIGNAL EQUIPMENT UPGRADES AT VARIOUS SIGNALIZED INTERSECTIONS; ORACLE PROJECT NO. 1012888; BID No. 4652

Sealed bids will be received at the Office of Purchasing and Contracting, 10089 Willow Creek Road, Suite 150, San Diego, California, 92131, until 2:00 p.m. on JULY 29, 2010, at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud. Contract documents including Plans, Specifications and Bid Forms are available for download at the County Buynet site: http://buynets.sdcounty.ca.gov . You must be registered at the site in order to download documents. The Contractor shall possess, at the time of submitting the bid, a California contractor's license, Classification A, General Engineering Contractor, or Classification C-10, Electrical Contractor. The cost of construction is estimated to be from $585,000 to $650,000. Bid security of no less than 10% required at time of bid. Successful bidder shall provide Payment and Performance Bonds for 100% of the contract amount. Prevailing Wage rates apply. The County of San Diego Department of Planning and Land Use invites qualified Consultants to submit a Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) to provide Environmental Planning Services related to the County of San Diego Climate Action Plan. The County of San Diego intends to award one contract. Consultant services shall be awarded by Qualification and Price Based Selection. Contract award is projected for October 2010. Public Disclosure of Gifts and Campaign Contributions is required for contract award. SOQs must be received by 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 6, 2010, at the following address:
