Draft San Diego Regional Analysis of Impediments to Fair Housing Choice

Under Title 1 of the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974, as amended, The City of San Diego invites citizens to participate in the preparation of the San Diego Regional Analysis of Impediments to Fair Housing Choice (AI). The AI is an analysis that represents conclusions about impediments to fair housing choice, as well as actions necessary to address any identified impediments.
Notice is hereby given that the AI is available for a 30-day public review from July 1, 2010 through July 30, 2010. The purpose of the review is to provide the public with an opportunity to comment on the analysis, conclusions on impediments to fair housing choice and solutions to mitigate or remove such impediments.
The draft document will be available in the reference section of all City of San Diego libraries and at the CDBG Program office located at 1200 Third Avenue, Suite 1400, San Diego, CA 92101. The plan will also be available for review on the City's CDBG Program website (www.sandiego.gov/cdbg/general/) and the Housing Commission's website (www.sdhc.org.).
A schedule of community meetings in which the draft AI will be presented is listed in the City's CDBG Program website. Public comments may be provided at these meetings or can be submitted in writing to the CDBG Program office in person, via mail, or via e-mail (CDBG@sandiego.gov). All information and updates regarding this process will be posted on the City's CDBG website.

PLEASE ACCEPT THIS AS A NOTICE TO INFORM YOU, as a property owner, tenant or interested citizen, that the Council of The City of San Diego, California will conduct a public hearing, as part of a scheduled City Council meeting, on the following project:

Matter of the appeal by the San Diego Coastkeeper, Jim Witkowski, Staff Attorney; Coastal Environmental Rights Foundation, Livia Borak, Legal Advisor; San Diego Audubon Society, Jim Peugh; Friends of Rose Canyon, Deborah Knight; Sierra Club, San Diego Chapter, Pamela Epstein; San Diego Canyonlands, Eric Bowlby, Executive Director; and California Native Plant Society, San Diego Chapter, Carrie Schneider, from the decision of the Planning Commission approving an application for the long-term maintenance of storm water facilities maintained by the City of San Diego Storm Water Department. The storm water facilities are located throughout portions of community planning within the City of San Diego.

Notice hereby given that the Council and the City of San Diego will consider an ordinance pursuant to Section 99 of the Charter of the City of San Diego authorizing the Mayor or his designee to execute an Eighth Amendment to Agreement with a Joint Venture between Rob Wellington Quigley Architects, Inc., and Tucker Sadler Architects, Inc. for the Construction Administration of San Diego New Main Library to increase the contract by $5,521,003, contingent upon the City Comptroller certifying funds.
Introduction of ordinance will take place on June 28, 2010 and consideration of the Ordinance will take place at the regular City Council meeting on Tuesday July 13, 2010 in the City Administration Building, council chambers, 12th floor, 202 C Street San Diego CA 92101.
