The County of San Diego, Owner, invites sealed bids for LAKE JENNINGS PARK ROAD SLOPE REPAIR; ORACLE PROJECT NO. 1012037; (RFB 3195).
Sealed bids will be received at the Office of Purchasing and Contracting, 10089 Willow Creek Road, Suite 150, San Diego, California, 92131, until 2:00 p.m. on AUGUST 7, 2008, at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud. No pre-bid meeting is scheduled for this project. Contract documents including reduced plans may be examined or purchased for the sum of $20.00 per set at the Office of Purchasing and Contracting 10089 Willow Creek Road, Suite 150, San Diego, CA 92131. Full-size plan sets may be purchased for an additional $5.00. Only complete sets of full-size plans will be sold. Contractor license requirement shall be Classification A, General Engineering Contractor. The cost of construction is estimated to be from $150,000 to $200,000. Bid security of no less than 10% required at time of bid. Successful bidder shall provide Payment and Performance Bonds for 100% of the contract amount. Prevailing Wage rates apply. The Owner, as a matter of policy, encourages the participation of Disabled Veteran Owned Businesses (DVBE). The County of San Diego, Owner, invites sealed bids for CONSTRUCTION OF RUXTON AVENUE CHANNEL CONVERSION; PROJECT No. 1002564: (BID No. 3199).
Sealed bids will be received at the Office of Purchasing and Contracting, 10089 Willow Creek Road, Suite 150, San Diego, California, 92131, until 2:00 p.m. on AUGUST 15, 2008, at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud. Contract documents, including reduced plans only, specifications and proposal forms, may be examined or purchased for the sum of $20.00 (including tax) per set at the Office of Purchasing and Contracting, 10089 Willow Creek Road, Suite 150, San Diego, CA 92131 beginning JULY 21, 2008. A set of full size plans may be obtained at the Dept. of Purchasing and Contracting, referenced above, at an additional cost of $10.00 per set (including tax). The Contractor shall possess, at the time of submitting the bid, a California contractor's license, Classification A, General Engineering Contractor, or Classification C-12, Earthwork and Paving Contractor. The cost of construction is estimated to be from $950,000 to $1,000,000. Bid security of no less than 10% required at time of bid. Successful bidder shall provide Payment and Performance Bonds for 100% of the contract amount. Prevailing Wage rates apply. A Disabled Veterans Business Enterprise (DVBE) goal of three percent (3%) has been established for this project.
