The County of San Diego, Owner, invites sealed bids for CONSTRUCTION OF VALLEY CENTER ROAD SOUTH, PHASE 1; ACTIVITY NO. 3C1007 (RFB 30214).
Sealed bids will be received at the Office of Purchasing and Contracting, Building 11, County Operations Center, 5555 Overland Avenue, San Diego, California, 92123, until 2:00 p.m. on August 21, 2003, at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud. Contract documents may be examined or purchased for the sum of $49.00 per set at the Office of Purchasing and Contracting. Contractor license requirement is A, General Engineering. Cost estimate is $11,800,000-$12,800,000. Bid security of no less than 10% required at time of bid. Successful bidder shall provide Payment and Performance Bonds for 100% of the contract amount. Prevailing Wage rates apply. A three percent (3%) DVBE goal has been established for this project.
