NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the North County Educational Purchasing Consortium of San Diego County, California, acting by and through its Governing Board, hereinafter referred to as the Consortium will receive up to, but not later than 2:30 pm on July 31, 2008, sealed bids for the award of a contract for the following:

Such bids shall be received in the office of Fallbrook Union High School District, at 2234 S. Stage Coach Lane, Fallbrook, CA 92028 and shall be opened at the stated time and place.
A NON-MANDATORY pre-bid CONFERENCE will be held on Thursday, July 25, 2008. Bidders are to sign in at the Business Services Office at Fallbrook Union High School District, 2234 S. Stage Coach Lane, Fallbrook, CA 92028, at 2:30 p.m.
Each bid must conform and be responsive to this invitation, the Information for Bidders, the Specifications, and all other documents comprising the pertinent Contract Documents. Copies of the Contract Documents are now on file and may be obtained in the office of the Director of Purchasing at the above address.
The Consortium reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to accept or to reject any one or more items of a bid, or to waive any irregularities or informalities in the bids or in the bidding.
No bidder may withdraw his bid for a period of sixty (60) days after the date set for the opening of bids.

The City of Del Mar, OWNER, invites sealed bids for:

CONSTRUCTION OF
CITY OF DEL MAR SEWER HERBICIDE PROJECT

The City of Del Mar seeks a bid from your firm for herbicide services for approximately 31,623 feet of 6 inch, 14,211 feet of 8 inch diameter active sewer line in the City of Del Mar.
OBTAINING CONTRACT DOCUMENTS: Bid packages are available from Scantech, Inc. located at 7150 Engineer Road, San Diego, CA 92111 at (858) 495-0727 for the non-refundable cost of printing. Or the bid packages may be downloaded from www.ebidboard.com.
RECEIPT AND OPENING OF PROPOSALS: Sealed proposals will be received at the office of the City Clerk, City of Del Mar, located at 1050 Camino Del Mar, Del Mar, California, until 2:00 p.m., August, 19, 2008, at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud at said office. Mailed bids will be addressed to: City Clerk, 2009 DEL MAR SEWER HERBICIDE PROJECT, 1050 Camino Del Mar, Del Mar, California 92014 and must be received by bid closing.
COMPLETION OF WORK: All WORK must be completed within 30 working days after the commencement date stated in the Notice to Proceed.
WAGE RATES: Prevailing wage rate for the locality in which the WORK is to be performed and the construction activity applies to this contract. Not less than these rates shall be paid to all workers employed on the project.
PROJECT ADMINISTRATION: All questions relative to this project prior to the opening of bids shall be directed to the Engineer for the project listed. It shall be understood, however that no specification interpretations will be made by telephone. Questions shall be in writing and delivered to 175 Calle Magdalena, Encinitas, CA 92024 by hand or by FAX addressed to Tamara O'Neal at (760) 632-4568.
