The County of San Diego, Owner, invites bids for Construction of Campo Road Intersection Improvements; PROJECT 1011533 (RFB 4605).

Sealed bids will be received at the Office of Purchasing and Contracting, at 10089 Willow Creek Rd, Ste. 150, San Diego, 92131, until 2:00 PM on August 19, 2010, at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud. Contract documents including Plans, Specifications and Bid Forms are available for download on the County Buynet site: http://buynet.sdcounty.ca.gov .You must be registered at the site in order to download documents. The Contractor shall possess, at the time of submitting the bid, a California contractor's license, Classification A, General Engineering Contractor or Classification C-12, Earthwork and Paving Contractor. The cost of construction is estimated to be from $2,700,000 to $2,900,000. Bid security of no less than 10% required at time of bid. Successful bidder shall provide Payment and Performance Bonds for 100% of the contract amount. Prevailing Wage rates apply. The Owner, as a matter of policy, encourages Disabled Veterans Business Enterprise (DVBE) participation for this project. Summary: The San Diego County Regional Airport Authority ("Authority") seeks Submissions from firms or individuals (“Respondent”) to assist the Authority with the development of a three to five year comprehensive organizational strategic planning process, to include but not limited to, (1) developing and aligning strategic goals and outcomes, establishing strategic leadership and critical thinking paradigms, and assessment of organizational culture and strategies for establishing desired culture; and, (2) creating, nurturing and sustaining a high performance organization that engages and involves Authority stakeholders, including the Airlines, Authority Board and other Public Agencies.
Proposal Due Date and Time: Proposals must be received by 2:00pm, local time, on August 11, 2010.
