Notice is hereby given that BMR Construction, Inc. will receive qualified bids for the Del Sur Neighborhood Park project consisting of Grading, Landscape, Irrigation, Surface Improvements, Wet Utilities, Dry Utilities, Park Amenities, Pre-fabricated Restroom Facility, Etc. at 16010 Camino Del Sur, San Diego, CA 92127 where bids are to be submitted prior to the time specified. Each Bidder that submits a bid must have a Class “C-27” State Contractors License in good standing. Information on how to obtain Plans and Specifications can be obtained from Kurt Bruskotter at Standard Pacific Homes San Diego/Black Mountain Ranch LLC,

A pre-bid meeting will be held on Wednesday, July 9, 2014 @ 11:00 am at the offices of BMR Construction, Inc. located at 16010 Camino Del Sur, San Diego, CA 92127 and prospective bidders are encouraged to attend. All bids must be submitted by 2:00pm on Friday, August 1, 2014 (”Bid Date”), to the office of BMR Construction, Inc., located at 16010 Camino Del Sur, San Diego, CA 92127.

This is an FBA reimbursable project (P-5). It is the policy of the City of San Diego and BMR Construction, Inc. to encourage equal opportunity in its construction, consultant, material and supply contracts. San Diego State University is requesting a statement of interest from organizations with experience with the development, installation, and management/maintenance of photovoltaic systems in California. The proposed project will be located in southwest Riverside County, within the Santa Margarita Ecological Reserve. The goal of this project is to develop a research program and compatibility study with a qualified renewable energy team at no cost to the University.

Estimated project cost is: $850,000.00.

Neighborhood business association seeks Executive Director (ED). The ED is a full time employee of the Hillcrest Business Association and reports to the Board President. The ED shall implement all programs of the organization including project and contract management, marketing and communications, special event production, and office and staff management. Necessary experience includes managing a not-for-profit organization with a budget of over $750,000 annually, interacting with government officials (including contract management), property development, open space and transportation planning, implementing marketing projects, special event production, common area maintenance contract supervision, and working with small businesses and volunteers. Strong writing and communications experience is desirable. The ED must be able to work with diverse groups and individuals.
