The County of San Diego, Owner, invites sealed bids for FEDERAL SAFE ROUTES TO SCHOOL PROJECT FOR LAKEVIEW ROAD AND WEST LAKEVIEW ROAD SIDEWALK IMPROVEMENTS ñ FEDERAL AID PROJECT NO. SRTSL 5957(110) - ORACLE PROJECT NO. 1017018 (BID NO. 6550)

Sealed bids will be received at the Office of Purchasing and Contracting, 5560 Overland Avenue, Suite 270, San Diego, California, 92123-1294, until 2:00 p.m. on August 21, 2014 at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud. Contract documents including Plans, Specifications and Bid Forms are available for download at the County Buynet site: http://buynet.sdcounty.ca.gov. You must be registered at the site in order to download documents.

The Contractor shall possess, at the time of submitting the bid, a California contractor's license, Classification A, General Engineering Contractor. The cost of construction is estimated to be from $425,000 to $450,000. Bid security of no less than 10% required at time of bid. Successful bidder shall provide Payment and Performance Bonds for 100% of the contract amount. Prevailing Wage rates apply. Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) participation of 19.5% is required.
