The County of San Diego, Owner, invites sealed bids for RANCHO DEL CAMPO WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT ROTARY DISTRIBUTOR ARM REPLACEMENT;
PROJECT NO. 1009063;
(BID No. 3151).
Sealed bids will be received at the Office of Purchasing and Contracting, 10089 Willow Creek Road, Suite 150, San Diego, California, 92131, until 2:00 p.m. on JULY 16, 2008, at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud. Contract documents may be examined or purchased for the sum of $20.00 per set at the Office of Purchasing and Contracting, 10089 Willow Creek Road, Suite 150, San Diego, CA 92131 beginning JUNE 27, 2008. A site inspection of the Rancho Del Campo Wastewater Treatment Plant is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. on July 10, 2008. Contractors are to assemble in front of the Campo Post Office, which is located on the East side of Buckman Springs Road/State Highway 94 intersection (Thomas Guide 430-B9). The plant is located at 31035 Forrest Gate Road (Thomas Guide 430-B10). Inspection of the plant at any other time after July 10, 2008 must be scheduled at least 24 hours in advance with Peejay Tubongbanua, Project Engineer, by calling (858) 694-2659. The Contractor shall possess, at the time of submitting the bid, a California contractor's license, Classification A, General Engineering Contractor. The cost of construction is estimated to be from $100,000 to $130,000. Bid security of no less than 10% required at time of bid. Successful bidder shall provide Payment and Performance Bonds for 100% of the contract amount. Prevailing Wage rates apply. As a matter of policy, the County of San Diego encourages the participation of disabled veteran owned businesses.
