NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Boys & Girls Clubs of North County acting by and through its Governing Board, hereafter referred to as the Owner will receive sealed bids for the award of a contract for the furnishing of all labor, materials, transportation, equipment and services for the following project in accordance with the scheduled dates and times: BOYS & GIRLS CLUBS OF NORTH COUNTY ELECTRICAL DESGIN.
Sealed bid packets shall be received Boys & Girls Clubs of North County 445 E. Ivy St. Fallbrook, CA 92028 up to, but no later than: four o?clock p.m. Thursday 28th day of August 2003. Bid packets will be opened and red aloud ON Friday August 29, 2003.
Each bid must conform and be responsive to the contract documents, copies of which are not on file and may be obtained beginning on the 11 day of August 2003 at 10:00 am. From the Boys & Girls Clubs of North County 445 E. Ivy St. Fallbrook, CA 92028
Bidders on this work will be required to comply with California Labor Code section 1410 et.Seq., California Labor Code section 177.5, and implementary regulations concerning equal opportunity for apprentices.
This project is funded through the federal Community Development Block Grant Program, as administered by the County of San Diego. This is a federally funded action program. Bidders shall comply with all applicable Federal requirements. This is a federally funded affirmative action program. Bidders shall comply with all applicable Federal requirements including Federal Prevailing Wage Rate criteria. The director of Industrial Relations has determined that general prevailing rate of per diem wages in the locality in which this work is to be performed for each craft or type of worker needed to execute the contract which will be awarded to the successful bidder, coies of which are on file and will be made available to any interested party on request at Boys & Girls Clubs of Fallbrook 445 E. Ivy St. Fallbrook, CA 92028.
It shall be mandatory upon the contractor to whom the contract is awarded, and upon any sub-contractor under him, to pay not less than the said specified rates to all workers employed by them in the execution of the contract. The contractor shall post a copy of these prevailing wage rates at the site of this project.
Each bid package shall be accompanied by the bid security required by the contract documents,

?Certification of Non-Segregated Facilities Federally Assisted Projects (Pursuant To Executive Order 11246),
?List of proposed subcontractors

and all addition documentation required by the Instructions to Bidders, including all state and federal MBE/WBE/DVBE documentation.
A bidder and all subcontractors shall be required at the time of submission of the bid to licensed as a contractor by the State of California to do the type of work required under the contract documents.
Bidders will be required to comply with the provisions of the Drug-Free Workplace Act of 1988 (Public Law 100-690) in the performance of the contract. Disabled Veterans and Minorities Business Enterprise Companies? participation in the bidding process is encouraged for this contract. Bidders are required to assure that every effort is made to provide equal opportunity to every potential minority and woman business vendor of subcontractor. Failure to take such steps before bid opening shall cause the bid to be rejected as non-responsive.
A Contract Performance Bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price shall be required of the successful bidder.
The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids; or to waive any informality in a bid, or to award the bid on the basis of the proposal that serves the best interest of the Boys & Girls Clubs of North County.
No bidder may withdraw the bid for a period of ninety (90) days after the bid opening date.

The Gaslamp Quarter Association is seeking proposals from qualified event companies to produce and?staff this secured, ticketed (21 and up), large (40,000-60,000)?one day street event?under the?direction?of?the Association's Executive Director and the GQA Mardi Gras Committee. Event includes entertainment, stages, parade, vendors and hospitality sites.

Sealed Bids are requested by McMillin Morgan Hill, LLC, a Delaware Limited Partnership for construction of irrigation/landscape improvements for right-of-way parkway and slopes for Butterfield Stage Road, Morgan Hill Drive and El Chimisal Road located in McMillin Morgan Hill in the County of Riverside near the City of Temecula. Project estimate range is
$1,000,000 to 1,100,000.
