NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the North County Educational Purchasing Consortium of San Diego County, California, acting by and through its Governing Board, hereinafter referred to as the Consortium will receive up to, but not later than 2:30 PM on September 14, 2015, sealed bids for the award of a contract for the following:

Such bids shall be received in the office of the Purchasing Services Supervisor, Palomar Community College, at 1140 West Mission Road, Bldg./Room A-8, San Marcos, CA 92069 and shall be opened at the stated time and place.

Each bid must conform and be responsive to this invitation, the Information for Bidders, the Specifications, and all other documents comprising the pertinent Contract Documents. Copies of the Contract Documents are now on file and may be obtained in the office of the Purchasing Services Supervisor at the above address, as well as at the following Palomar College District bid website (in the Purchasing Services section towards the bottom of that website):

The Consortium reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to accept or to reject any one or more items of a bid, or to waive any irregularities or informalities in the bids or in the bidding.

No bidder may withdraw his bid for a period of sixty (60) days after the date set for the opening of bids.

Sealed bids addressed to the Board of Directors, Otay Water District (District) will be received for the OPERATIONS YARD PROPERTY ACQUISITION IMPROVEMENTS (CIP P2537) at the office of the District, 2554 Sweetwater Springs Boulevard, Spring Valley, California 91978-2004, until 4:00 PM local time, on Thursday, September 17, 2015, and at that time bids will be publicly opened and read.

The work generally consists of construction of an approximate 27,700 square foot asphalt concrete parking lot, including site clearing, preparation of subgrade, asphalt concrete pavement, striping, storm drainage facilities, chain link fencing, area lighting, and all other appurtenant and associated Work in accordance with the Contract Documents. The engineer’s estimate is $440,000.

A Pre-Bid Meeting will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Tuesday, September 1, 2015, at Otay Water District Board Room. A visit to the project site will be conducted by the District after the Pre-Bid Meeting.

The District is using Mayer Reprographics for distribution of Contract Documents, including plans and specifications. Electronic copies may be downloaded without fee through http://www.mayer.com. Hard copies may be obtained for a fee through any Mayer Reprographics office or by calling Mayer at (619) 295-4112. The amount paid for hard copies is not refundable.

OF REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS (RFQ) FOR DESIGN SERVICES FOR PARKS IN THE MILLENIA COMMUNITY AND REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS (RFP) BY SLF IV - MILLENIA, LLC FOR DESIGN SERVICES FOR THE 1.51 ACRE STRATA PARK IN THE MILLENIA COMMUNITY

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT SLF IV - Millenia, LLC, owners of the Millenia Project, is releasing a Request For Qualifications (RFQ) for design services for parks in the Millenia Master Planned Community in Chula Vista, and a Request For Proposals (RFP) seeking proposals from qualified design firms for the design of a 1.51-acre urban park ("Strata Park") located in the Millenia project. The scope of work to be performed includes: (1) preparation of a Preliminary and final Park Master Plans 2) preparation of construction documents for the park and provision of related services in support of client bidding; 3) perform construction administration function during park construction. The design process will be a collaborative effort between the project owners and the City of Chula Vista.

The Request for Qualifications / Proposals describes the Millenia project and planned parks, the required scope of services and project schedule, the minimum information that must be included in the proposals, and the consultant evaluation and selection process.

This RFQ/RFP may also be used by the project owners to develop a pre-qualified list of firms to receive proposals for future parks planned in the Millenia project. All firms submitting proposals need to have demonstrated experience in designing urban parks. Prior experience with park design or landscape architectural work in the City of Chula Vista is also desirable.
