Only those subcontractors who pre-qualify will be allowed to bid on Channel Islands-Student Housing Phase III / Dining Commons Expansion at California State University. In addition a subcontractor may be required to furnish a performance & payment bond. All information requested in these forms must be completed and returned in order to be considered "responsive" to the requirements of prequalification.

The City of Del Mar, OWNER, invites sealed bids for:

2014 DEL MAR SEWER HERBICIDE PROJECT

The City of Del Mar seeks bids from qualified contractor to provide herbicide services for approximately 30,665 LF of 6 inch diameter, 16,823 LF of 8 inch diameter, and 540 LF of 10 inch diameter active sewer lines in the City of Del Mar.

OBTAINING CONTRACT DOCUMENTS: Contract documents, containing proposal forms, agreement, specifications, drawings, may be obtained from ebidboard.com, or Scantech Graphics, located al 7150 Engineer Road, San Diego CA 92111 at (858) 495-0727 (plotting@aescantech.com) for the non-refundable cost of printing.

RECEIPT OF BIDS: Sealed bid proposals will be received at the office of the Administrative Services Director/City Clerk, City of Del Mar, located at 1050 Camino del Mar, Del Mar, California 92014 before 2:00 P.M. on September 9, 2014, at which time
they will be publicly opened and read aloud.

OPINION OF PROBABLE CONSTRUCTION COST: The Public Works Director's opinion of probable construction cost for this project is $40,000.

BID SECURITY: Bid Security shall accompany the bid in the form of a certified or cashier's check, or a Bid Bond made payable to the OWNER in the amount of ten percent of the total bid amount.

PERFORMANCE AND PAYMENT BOND: The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Payment Bond made payable to the OWNER in the amount of hundred percent (100%), and a Performance Bond made payable to the OWNER in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount.

CONTRACTOR'S LICENSING LAWS: Attention is directed to the Contractor's License Law concerning the licensing of C61 - Limited Specialty Classification, subcategory D64 ROOT REMOVAL. CONTRACTOR shall also obtain a City of Del Mar business license.

WAGE RATES: The CONTRACTOR shall pay wages to CONTRACTOR's employees according to the current "General Prevailing Wage Rates" issued by the Department of lndustrial Relations of the State of California.

PROJECT ADMINISTRATION: All questions relative to this project prior to the opening of bids shall be directed to Doug Blackstock, Maintenance Superintendent/Project Coordinator. North County Transit District (NCTD) is notifying potential respondents of an upcoming opportunity to provide NCTD with extensive On Call IT Service including but not limited to the following services.

--- Plan, install, maintain, configure and test all NCTD hardware and software
systems and equipment

--- Perform audits of existing NCTD systems and provide comprehensive and
detailed documentation as requested, including but not limited to, planning
tools for additions, upgrades and extension to current hardware, and software

THE HILLCREST BUSINESS ASSOCIATION (HBA)
NOTICE INVITING BIDS

The Hillcrest Business Association (HBA) is seeking bids for the pressure washing/steam cleaning services in the public right of way. Please respond to this simple request for quote before August 29, 2014 at 5pm by mail, email or fax.

Existing conditions: The Maintenance Assessment District Committee of the HBA is interested in providing sidewalk pressure washing/steam cleaning services throughout the core of Hillcrest. The HBA currently has a contract with the City of San Diego to provide these services in the public right of way.

Minimum bidding details:

--- The contract is anticipated to be executed upon due consideration by the Hillcrest
Business Association board of directors, its staff and any appropriate volunteers.
Bidders acknowledge that this process may take a considerable amount of time or
may not occur at all.
--- Bidders are responsible for surveying the property and familiarizing themselves
with all specific site conditions and limitations.
--- Bidders are responsible for completing this form with an estimate that accurately
describes the cost to perform the work described below under Description of Work.
--- Bidders are responsible to provide any further detail about their company or
experience as would illustrate their competence in performing the tasks described.
--- Bidders are to provide a minimum of three (3) references with contact information
for clients where similar services were provided.
--- At time of execution of a contract the Bidder will be required to maintain a
Commercial General Liability (CGL) insurance in the amount of $ 1 million per
occurrence and subject to an annual aggregate of $2 million, a Commercial
Automobile Liability policy for all of the Contractor's automobiles including owned,
hired and non-owned automobiles, and a Workers' Compensation policy for all
of the Contractor's employees to the extent required by the applicable state or
federal law.
--- Failure to submit responses to any of the above items above may disqualify
the bidder from further consideration.

Description of work: Please provide a price quote in the section provided below for the following work:
Hillcrest Core: Provide a schedule over a three month period for pressure washing or steam cleaning of the sidewalks to a standard that will remove grime, dirt and gum in the area described below:

--- Robinson Ave: one half block west of Fifth Avenue to alleyway on both sides
of the street and one block east of Fifth Ave. to Sixth Ave. on both sides of
