NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Poway Unified School District of San Diego County, California, acting by and through its Governing Board, hereinafter referred to as the District will receive up to, but no later than 2:30 p.m. on August 29, 2006, sealed bids for the award of a contract for the following:
Purchase of
DELIVERY TRUCK VEHICLES
Bid No. 3B-2007
Such bids shall be received in the Purchasing Department at Poway Unified School District, 13626 Twin Peaks Road., Building K, Poway, CA 92064-3034 and shall be opened at the stated time and place. Parking is limited, so plan accordingly.
Each bid must conform and be responsive to this invitation, and all other documents comprising the pertinent Contract Documents. Copies of the Contract Documents are now on file and may be obtained in the Purchasing Department at the above address. Contact Carolyn Harness at 858-748-0010 ext. 2788 regarding this bid.
The District reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to accept or to reject any one or more items of the bid, or to waive any irregularities or informalities in the bids or in the bidding.
No bidder may withdraw his bid for a period of sixty (60) days after the date set for the opening of bids.

PROFESSIONAL CONSULTANT SERVICES

The Otay Water District (OWD) will require the services of a professional environmental firm (Consultant) to provide CEQA compliance services for a capital improvement project (CIP) known as the Calavo Sewer Lift Station Replacement (CIP No. S2015). The Project is located at 3700 Avocado Blvd (Thomas Bros 1271-F5) just north of State Route 94. The existing pump station has reached the end of its useful life and is in need of replacement. Therefore, a new pump station will be constructed in the immediate vicinity of the existing wet well and pump station.
Interested candidates are required to send a Letter of Interest and a Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) to Elmer Alex, Otay Water District, 2554 Sweetwater Springs Boulevard, Spring Valley, California 91978-2004. If a firm has submitted a SOQ to the District within the calendar year and the qualifications remain current and accurate, then only a Letter of Interest is required.
Deadline to submit Letter of Interest and SOQ will be at 4:00 p.m. on September 8, 2006. Technical questions regarding the Professional Consultant Services should be referred to the Otay Water District Project Manager Elmer Alex at (619) 670-2247.
