NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
Notice is hereby given that the Administrative and Finance Committee of the Board of Directors of the San Diego County Water Authority will hold a public hearing at 10:30 a.m. or as soon thereafter as the matter may be heard, on Thursday, August 28, 2008, at its offices located at 4677 Overland Avenue, San Diego, California 92123.
The purpose of the hearing will be to receive comments from the public regarding proposed amendments to the Water Authority's Local Conflict of Interest Code. A copy of the proposed amendments is on file in the office of the Clerk of the Board.

The County of San Diego, Owner, invites sealed bids for REMOVE AND REPLACE CONCRETE CURB, GUTTER, SIDEWALK, DRIVEWAY, CROSS GUTTER AND CURB RAMP AT VARIOUS LOCATIONS COUNTYWIDE; PROJECT No. 1011359; (BID No. 3126).
Sealed bids will be received at the Office of Purchasing and Contracting, 10089 Willow Creek Road, Suite 150, San Diego, California, 92131, until 2:00 p.m. on SEPTEMBER 11, 2008, at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud. No pre-bid meeting is scheduled for this project. Contract documents will be available after 1:00 p.m. on Monday, August 25, 2008 and may be examined or purchased for the sum of $15.00 (including tax) per set at the Office of Purchasing and Contracting, 10089 Willow Creek Road, Suite 150, San Diego, CA 92131.
The Contractor shall possess, at the time of submitting the bid, a California contractor's license, Classification A, General Engineering Contractor, or Classification C-8, Concrete Contractor. The cost of construction is estimated to be from $300,000 to $370,000. Bid security of no less than 10% required at time of bid. Successful bidder shall provide Payment and Performance Bonds for 100% of the contract amount. Prevailing Wage rates apply. DVBE participation is encouraged as a matter of policy.
