As a nearby property owner, tenant, or interested individual, you should know that the Centre City Development Corporation (CCDC) has rescheduled the hearing previously noticed for Thursday, September 11, 2008 before the City of San Diego Planning Commission to approve, conditionally approve or deny an application by San Diego Community Treatment Center for the extension of Conditional Use Permit (CUP) No. 40-0111; allowing the continued operation of a correctional/rehabilitation program for up to 42 residents in an existing 6,000 square foot building located at 502 Tenth Avenue, in the East Village District of the Downtown Community Plan Area. This hearing has been rescheduled to be heard before the City of San Diego Planning Commission on the date and time listed below.

PLEASE ACCEPT THIS AS A NOTICE TO INFORM YOU, as a property owner, tenant or interested citizen, that the Council of The City of San Diego, California will conduct a public hearing, as part of a scheduled City Council meeting, on the following project:
To execute Amendment Number 5 to the agreement with Lee & Ro Consulting Engineers Inc. for $976,759 for engineering services during the construction of the Grit Processing Improvement Facility at the Point Loma Wastewater Treatment Plant. This Amendment will bring the total contract cost with Lee & Ro Consulting Engineers for Engineering services on Grit Processing Improvement Facility to $3,911,121.
COMMUNICATIONS
This item may begin at any time after the time specified. Any interested person may address the City Council to express support or opposition to this issue. Time allotted to each speaker is determined by the Chair and, in general, is limited to three (3) minutes; moreover, collective testimony by those in support or opposition shall be limited to no more than fifteen (15) minutes total per side.
