The City of San Diego is issuing a Request for Proposal (RFP) that describes opportunities for the operation of City Reservoir Concessions for El Capitan, Hodges, Murray, Miramar, Sutherland, and Lower Otay Reservoirs. Capable operators are invited to submit proposals, for one or all Concessions, that convey sufficient information regarding their operational expertise as well as other criteria as described in the RFP. The information submitted will enable the City to select the best Concession Operator(s) for this important recreational use of City property.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on or about September 30, 2010, the City will submit a Consolidated Annual Performance and Evaluation Report (CAPER) for FY 2010 to the U.S. Department of Housing & Urban Development (HUD). The CAPER is the annual report for the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), Emergency Shelter Grant (ESG), HOME Investment Partnership Program (HOME), American Dream Downpayment Initiative (ADDI), and Housing Opportunities for Persons with AIDS (HOPWA). The Draft FY 2010 CAPER will be available for public review at the CDBG Program office (1200 Third Avenue, Suite 1400, San Diego, CA 92101), the CDBG Program's website (www.sandiego.gov/cdbg/general), and the San Diego Housing Commission's website from August 31, 2010 through September 22, 2010. Notice of Public Hearing for Proposed
Community Development Block Grant
Third Substantial Amendment to the
Fiscal Year 2009 Annual Action Plan

The City of San Diego was awarded $14,852,251 in Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds in Fiscal Year (FY) 2009. Of these CDBG funds, the San Diego Housing Commission was allocated a total of $1,277,478 for various housing and public facilities projects. The San Diego Housing Commission has requested the reallocation of $1,097,478 of these FY 2009 CDBG funds to the Parker-Kier Apartments Rehabilitation Project. The proposed reallocation of these funds would require the submission of a Third Substantial Amendment to the City of San Diego's FY 2009 Annual Action Plan to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). An electronic copy of the report summarizing the proposed reallocation and Third Substantial Amendment will be posted on the City's CDBG website at www.sandiego.gov/cdbg/general from August 11 - September 14, 2009.

The proposed reallocation and Third Substantial Amendment will be considered by City Council during their regularly scheduled meeting on September 13th or 14th, 2010 at:

PLEASE ACCEPT THIS AS A NOTICE TO INFORM YOU, as a property owner, tenant or interested citizen, that the Council of The City of San Diego, California will conduct a public hearing, as part of a scheduled City Council meeting, on the following project:
Matter of approving, conditionally approving, or denying an application for a Land Development Code Amendment for Revisions to the Southeastern San Diego Planned District Ordinance (SESDPDO) to allow school uses within SESDPDO commercial zones, Planned Development Permit for deviations to land development regulations, a Conditional Use Permit for a proposed school use (private middle school for area designated Commercial), Site Development Permit for development within a Southeastern San Diego Planned District commercial zone, and Neighborhood Development Permit for encroachments within a public right-of-way for a proposed 13,127 square-foot private middle school within the Southeastern San Diego Community Plan area. The project requires the certification of Mitigated Negative Declaration No. 148350 and adoption of the Mitigated, Monitoring, and Reporting Program. The project is located at 3229-3233 Market Street and 3236-3238 Island Avenue in the CSF-2 and MF-3000 zones within the Southeastern San Diego Planned District. The Planning Commission recommended approval of the project by a vote of 6-0-0 on June 3, 2010.
* Unless otherwise noticed or stated on the record at the hearing, if an ordinance is approved and introduced by the City Council, it will automatically be scheduled for a hearing by the City Council for final passage at 10:00 a.m. on the Tuesday two weeks after the subject hearing.
The decision of the City Council is final.
