1. Centre City Development Permit 2007-28
2. Centre City Comprehensive Sign Plan 2007-28
3. Parcel Map/Public Right-of-Way Vacation No. 508860
These applications propose the construction of a Marriott Convention Hotel on a 3.7 acre site located at the southeast corner of Park Boulevard and Imperial Avenue. The hotel would feature a five-story, 110-foot tall podium and two high-rise towers with maximum heights of 485-490 feet (500 feet above Mean Sea Level). The project also proposes deviations to the City's sign regulations to increase the size of signs on the podium and the towers and involves the proposed vacation of 11th Avenue south of Imperial Avenue, and a small portion of Imperial Avenue west of 11th Avenue. Development of the project would require approval of a First Implementation Agreement to the Owner Participation Agreement between the Redevelopment Agency and Ballpark Village LLC approved in 2005, including deviations from the Ballpark Village Master Plan development standards.
