NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS

The County of San Diego, invites sealed bids for
INTERCOM MAINTENANCE SERVICES; RFB No. 6540

Sealed bids will be received at the Office of Purchasing and Contracting, 5560 Overland Avenue, Suite 270, San Diego, California, 92123-1204, until 11:00 a.m. on September 30, 2014 at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud. RFB documents are available for download at the County BuyNet site: https://buynet.sdcounty.ca.gov . You must be registered at the site in order to download documents. The Contractor shall possess, at the time of submitting the bid, a California contractor's license, Classification C-7, Low Voltage Systems. The estimated value of the contract is $120,000 to $150,000 per year for an initial term of up to one (1) year and four (4) one-year options through November 2019. A mandatory pre-bid conference is scheduled at the office of Purchasing and Contracting on Wednesday, September 3, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. Information regarding mandatory job walks will be provided at the pre-bid conference. Bid security of no less than 10% required at time of bid for total price of the contract. Successful bidder shall provide Payment and Performance Bonds for 100% of and at each contract year. Prevailing Wage rates apply. The County, as a matter of policy, encourages the participation of Disabled Veterans Business Enterprise (DVBE).
