Opportunity
The Redevelopment Agency of the City of San Diego is requesting qualifications for real estate market, economic, financial, and redevelopment professional services. The Agency wishes to establish a pool of consultants to provide economic evaluation of development projects for a period of three years.

Schedule
Responses are due September 8, 2006 at 4:30 PM.

Selection Process
The Agency Pre-Selection Committee will review all submittals that meet the outlined requirements stated in the RFQ. The Committee will “short-list” the most qualified firms, utilizing the selection criteria stated in the RFQ. In the event that an interview is required by the Selection committee, it is mandatory that a principal from the firm and the designated project manager attend.

The City of San Diego Land Development Review Division has prepared a draft Mitigated Negative Declaration for the following project and is inviting your comments regarding the adequacy of the document. Your comments must be received by August 26, 2006 to be included in the final document considered by the decision-making authorities. Subject: Douglas Residence: COASTAL DEVELOPMENT PERMIT (CDP) and a SITE DEVELOPMENT PERMIT (SDP) to allow the demolition of a single-family residence and the construction of a three-level single-family residence located at 7420 Vista Del Mar in the RS-1-7 zone of the La Jolla Community Planning Area. The site is located within the Sensitive Coastal Overlay Zone, the Coastal Height Limitation Overlay Zone, the Coastal Overlay Zone (appealable), the Multi-Habitat Planning Area (MHPA) and the Parking Impact Overlay Zone (Legal Description: Portion of Pueblo Lot 1260 and a portion of Block 1 of La Jolla Park). As a property owner, tenant, or person who has requested notice, please be advised that the Hearing Officer will hold a public hearing to approve, conditionally approve, or deny an application for a Map Waiver to waive the requirements of a Tentative Map to create 3 residential condominium dwelling units from daily/weekly rentals units on a 0.036 acre site at 3785 Ocean Front Walk in the NC-N Zone of the Mission Beach Planned District and Mission Beach Precise Plan, Beach Parking Impact Overlay, Coastal Height Limit, Residential Tandem Parking, Coastal Overlay Zone (State Jurisdiction).
Should the condominium conversion project be approved, tenants may be required to vacate the premises. No units may be sold in this building unless the conversion is approved by the city and until after a public report is issued by the Department of Real Estate.
