Notice of Application of Bank Merger
Notice is hereby given that application has been made to the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, 25 Jessie Street at Ecker Square, Suite 2300, San Francisco, California 94105-2780 for consent to merge First National Bank, Rancho Santa Fe, California, a wholly owned national bank subsidiary of First Community Bancorp, into Pacific Western National Bank, Santa Monica, California, another wholly owned national bank subsidiary of First Community Bancorp, following (1) Pacific Western's conversion into a California state-chartered bank and (2) the merger of Community National Bank, Escondido, California into First National, with Pacific Western as the surviving entity. Following the conversion, the proposed name of the converted bank will be Pacific Western Bank.
It is contemplated that the main office and branch offices of First National will continue to operate. It is contemplated that main office and branch offices of Pacific Western will continue to operate.
Any person wishing to comment on this application regarding the merger of First National with and into Pacific Western may file his or her comments in writing with the Division of Supervision and Consumer Protection of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation at: Regional Director, John F. Carter, 25 Jessie Street at Ecker Square, Suite 2300, San Francisco, California 94105-2780 within 30 days of the date of first publication of this notice. The nonconfidential portions of the application are on file at the appropriate FDIC office and are available for public inspection during regular business hours.
