The County of San Diego, Owner, invites sealed bids for Teton Pass Street and Burris Drive Storm Damage Repairs, (RFB 879). Sealed bids will be received at the Office of Purchasing and Contracting, Lobby Front Desk, County Operations Center, 5555 Overland Avenue, Suite 1111 (Bldg 11), San Diego, California, 92123-2149, until 2:00 p.m. on August 22, 2005, at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud. Work to be Done consists in general of storm damage repairs for Teton Pass Street and Burris Drive in the vicinity of Jamacha. The work includes earthwork, placing aggregate base and asphalt concrete, constructing concrete curb inlet, cleanouts, installing reinforced concrete pipe and perforated underdrain plastic pipe, preparing water pollution control program, providing water pollution control and traffic control. The Contractor shall possess, at the time of submitting the bid, a California contractor's license, Classification A, General Engineering Contractor. The cost of construction is estimated to be from $450,000 to $550,000. The County of San Diego, Owner, invites sealed bids for Wildcat Canyon Road Improvements, (RFB 920). Work to be Done consists in general of the widening of Wildcat Canyon Road from 490 feet south of Muth Valley Road to 700 feet north of Muth Valley Road (approximately 0.23 miles) and the widening and realignment of Wildcat Canyon Road from 1,550 feet north of Muth Valley Road to 1,400 feet north of Blue Sky Ranch Road (approximately 0.95 miles). The project is located in the vicinity of Lakeside. The cost of construction is estimated to be from $5,000,000 to $6,000,000. Request for Statement of
Qualifications
---
The County of San Diego is issuing a Request for Statement of Qualifications (RFSQ) 901 to all firms interested in assisting the County in the Design of the East County Sports Complex in the community of Lakeside.
The selected candidate will be required to design a new sports complex on approximately 10-acres of undeveloped parkland. Details are provided in the RFSQ 901 Scope of Services. The County is seeking firms or teams of consultants with expertise in sports complex design and community workshop facilitating. Once final design is chosen, construction drawings and specifications will be prepared.
Project costs for design are expected to range from $250,000 to $300,000.
The Request for Statement of Qualifications package including the Statement of Qualifications Questionnaire is due no later than 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 24, 2005. The Request for Statement of Qualifications and the required Statement of Qualifications Questionnaire are available at the County Internet "Buynet" site at http://buynet.sdcounty.ca.gov.
