Notice of Availability of a Draft Mitigated Negative Declaration
for the Mid City Rapid Bus Transit Project
The San Diego Association of Governments (SANDAG), as Lead Agency pursuant to the California Environmental Quality Act, has prepared a Draft Initial Study/ Mitigated Negative Declaration for the Mid-City Rapid Bus Project located along Park and El Cajon Boulevards in the City of San Diego. Mid-City Rapid is a new high-quality bus route providing frequent, higher-speed service with state-of-the-art vehicles and upgraded transit stop amenities.
The Draft Initial Study/Mitigated Negative Declaration and supporting documents may be reviewed or obtained at SANDAG, 401 B Street, Suite 800, San Diego, CA 92101. The documents also can be viewed on SANDAG's Web site at www.sandag.org.
The public review period starts on September 2, 2008 and ends on October 2 2008. Written comments on the adequacy of this document must be received by SANDAG at the above address by 5:00 p.m. on October 2, 2008.
