Notice is hereby given that the San Diego County Water Authority (Water Authority) is seeking information concerning artificial turf. Once registered on The Network, access to the Request for Information (RFI) for Artificial Turf Corporate Partnership is available.

North County Transit District (NCTD) is notifying potential respondents of an upcoming opportunity to provide NCTD with extensive On Call IT Service including but not limited to the following services.

The Palomar Community College District (hereinafter District) acting through its Governing Board, intends to solicit bids from qualified CA licensed trade contractors for a current public works project, Child Development Center (hereinafter ìProjectî) for the following bid trade packages:

The Project consists of new construction of a three single story independent buildings constructed on cast-in-place concrete slabs. The structure of the buildings are structural steel, steel trusses, and metal decking also versa decking. Building #1 consists of classrooms, restrooms, storage, electrical & boiler rooms, and outdoor equipment yard. Building #2 consist of classrooms, restrooms and storage. Building #3 is the Administration with restrooms. The interior features are open painted ceiling, acoustical tile ceiling, cabinetry, and flooring.

Bid packages for the above trades including plans and technical specifications are anticipated to be available on October 2, 2014, with an anticipated bid opening of October 24, 2014. The Project delivery method is CM@Risk, administered by Swinerton Builders.

*Pre-Qualification Criteria: Along with the standard pre-qualification application, this Project requires the above listed Trades to have the following specific experience:

Standing Seam Metal Roofing: (1) Must have experience with the installation of Horizontal-Seam Metal Roofing. (2) Installer shall issue and confirm as a Qualified Bidder who has been in the business of erecting and installing specified materials for at least five consecutive years, and can show evidence of satisfactory completion of projects of similar size, scope and type.

Sheet Metal, Metal Siding, & Translucent Fiberglass Sandwich Panel: (1) Must have experience with the installation of Sheet Metal; Metal Siding; & Translucent Fiberglass Sandwich Panel. The Translucent Fiberglass Sandwich Panel is a ‘Deferred Submittal’. (2) Installer shall issue and confirm as a Qualified Bidder who has been in the business of erecting and installing specified materials for at least five consecutive years, and can show evidence of satisfactory completion of projects of similar size, scope and type.

Exterior Phenolic Cladding Wall Panel System: (1) Must have experience with the installation of Exterior Phenolic Cladding Wall Panel System and a certified Installer; TRESPA Product system or equivalent. (2) Installer shall issue and confirm as a Qualified Bidder who has been in the business of erecting and installing specified materials for at least five consecutive years, and can show evidence of satisfactory completion of projects of similar size, scope and type.

Electrical & Low Voltage: (1) The Mechanical Design is based on VRF System. (2) Installer shall issue and confirm as a Qualified Bidder who has been in the business of erecting and installing specified materials for at least five consecutive years, and can show evidence of satisfactory completion of projects of similar size, scope and type.

Mechanical (VRF System): (1) Must have experience with the installation of VRF System and a certified Installer; Manufacturers: Dyken, Mitsubishi, LG or equivalent. (2) Installer shall issue and confirm as a Qualified Bidder who has been in the business of erecting and installing specified materials for at least five consecutive years, and can show evidence of satisfactory completion of projects of similar size, scope and type.

Pre-Qualification Application: The District has implemented a pre-qualification process to ensure contractors bidding and performing work on Prop M District projects are pre-qualified. Contractors can download the pre-qualification package via the following link:

Each application must conform and be responsive to the standard application provided by the District. Any deviation from the standard application form or failure to provide the required information may be considered non-responsive and grounds for disqualification and rejection of the application. The District reserves the right to waive minor irregularities and omissions in the information contained in the pre-qualification application submitted, to make all final determinations, and to determine at any time that the pre-qualification procedures will not be applied to a future public works project.

Responses to the pre-qualification application and questionnaire and any financial information submitted for pre-qualification evaluation are not public records and not open to public inspection. The District will maintain the confidentiality of these records to the extent permitted by law. In the event a third party requests these confidential records, the District will notify the affected contractor, and it shall be the contractorís responsibility to defend the District in any action to compel disclosure of the contractís confidential information.

Notice is hereby given by the Southwestern Community College District (SCCD) of San Diego County, California, hereinafter referred to as the District, acting by and through its Governing Board, will receive up to, but not later than 2:00PM on Friday, October 10, 2014 to this Request for Proposal (RFP) for Host Services for the Imperial Valley Small Business Development Center for the Southwestern Community College District.

The SCCD, regional host for the San Diego and Imperial Small Business Development Center Network (Network), is seeking proposals from qualified applicant organizations to be a host of the Imperial Valley Small Business Development Center (IVSBDC), serving Imperial County. The IVSBDC delivers defined business development support services to established and emerging businesses.

REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL
REHABILITATION PROGRAM RFP NUMBER 2014-2

Rebuilding Together San Diego has a program in response to the great need voiced by low-income homeowners, seniors, people with disabilities and veterans, who are residents of The City of San Diego and need to have vital repairs on their homes to answer the problem of health and safety issues.

At least twelve (12) homes will be rehabbed. This program is being made possible with the support of CDBG Funding from The City of San Diego and HUD. The funding for the entire rehabilitation construction portion is not to exceed $275,000.00 including permits, fees and tests.

Rebuilding Together San Diego is soliciting proposals from licensed general contractors for REHABILITATION OF HOMES. A summary of work is contained in the Scope of Work section of the Request for Proposals. Interested and qualified firms including Section 3, MBE, WBE, DVBE are invited to submit a proposal. An electronic copy of the solicitation packages with complete instructions is available. If a hard copy of the package is required, a non-refundable $25.00 fee will be collected at the time of pickup.

The Lakeside's River Park Conservancy (LRPC) will INVITE BIDS FOR RIVERFORD TRAIL FENCE CONSTRUCTION PROJECT to construct approximately 1700 linear feet of lodge pole fencing along one side of the San Diego River Trail in Lakeside.
