The Redevelopment Agency of the City of San Diego seeks qualified firms to provide Architectural Design and/or Sustainable Design Consultant Services for the eleven Redevelopment Project Areas under the management of the Redevelopment Division of the City of San Diego's City Planning &Community Investment Department (“Redevelopment Division”).
Although the Agency consists of three entities (the Redevelopment Division, the Centre City Development Corporation and the Southeastern Economic Development Corporation), this solicitation for architectural design and/or sustainable design consultant services is only for project areas managed by the Redevelopment Division. The Division implements redevelopment activities within eleven redevelopment project areas totaling approximately 7,600 acres and provides overall management and administrative services for the Agency. The certification of an Environmental Impact Report, adoption of a Mitigated Negative Declaration or Negative Declaration, or determination that the project is exempt from the California Environmental Quality may be appealed to the City Council after all other appeal rights have been exhausted. All such appeals must be filed by 5:00 PM within ten (10) business days from the date of the Planning Commission's certification/adoption of the environmental document. The proper forms are available from the City Clerk's Office, located on the second floor of the City Administration Building, 202 C Street, San Diego, CA 92101.

AN ORDINANCE OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN DIEGO CHANGING 69.76 ACRES LOCATED SOUTH OF LA JOLLA VILLAGE DRIVE, WEST OF TOWNE CENTER DRIVE, EAST OF GENESEE AVENUE, AND NORTH OF NOBEL DRIVE, WITHIN THE UNIVERSITY COMMUNITY PLAN AREA IN THE CITY OF SAN DIEGO, CALIFORNIA, FROM THE CC-1-3 (COMMERCIAL-COMMUNITY) ZONE TO THE CR-1-1 (COMMERCIAL REGIONAL) ZONE, AS DEFINED BY SAN DIEGO MUNCIPAL CODE SECTION 131.0503; AND REPEALING ORDINANCE NO. O 11612 (NEW SERIES), ADOPTED MAY 27, 1975, OF THE CITY OF SAN DIEGO INSOFAR AS THE SAME CONFLICTS HEREWITH.

This ordinance approves the rezoning of 69.76 acres from the CC-1-3 zone to the CR 1 1 zone, in connection with property located south of La Jolla Village Drive, West of Towne Center Drive, East of Genesee Avenue, and North of Nobel Drive, in the University Community Plan, in the City of San Diego, California.
This ordinance contains a notice that a full reading of this ordinance is dispensed with prior to its final passage, since a written or printed copy will be available to the City Council and the public a day prior to its final passage.
This ordinance shall take effect and be in force on the thirtieth day from and after its final passage.
A complete copy of the Ordinance is available for inspection in the Office of the City Clerk of the City of San Diego, 2nd Floor, City Administration Building, 202 C Street, San Diego, CA 92101.
