NOTICE OF TAX DEFAULT (DELINQUENT) LIST
Notice is hereby given by the San Diego County Treasurer-Tax Collector that due to non-payment of the total taxes, assessments and other charges levied in 2001-02 that are a lien on real property, were declared to be in tax-default at 12:01 a.m. on July 1, 2002. If the taxes remain unpaid after July 1, 2007, the property will be subject to the Treasurer-Tax CollectorÕs Power to Sell. Property upon which a nuisance abatement lien has been recorded and a city, county, city and county, or nonprofit organization requests the property be offered at the next public auction, that property shall be subject to the Treasurer-Tax CollectorÕs power to sell if the taxes remain unpaid after June 30, 2005.
Tax-defaulted real property may be redeemed by payment of all unpaid taxes and assessments, together with the additional penalties and fees, as prescribed by law, or it may be redeemed under an installment plan of redemption.

The County of San Diego, Owner, invites contractors to an outreach meeting to understand and prepare for bidding on upcoming Job Order Contracts. If you are a contractor interested in bidding on upcoming JOCÕs, particularly small contractors in the following disciplines; general contractor, HVAC, painting, flooring and roofing, then you should plan to attend. There will be several large JOCÕs with the potential capacity of $1,000,000 expandable to $3,000,000 and several small JOCÕs with the potential capacity of $100,000 expandable to $500,000.
Individual solicitations will be issued in addition to this outreach solicitation. Solicitations for the individual JOCÕs will identify the specific dates in this two-step process; prequalification of contractors followed by sealed bids. This two-step process will be described at the outreach meeting scheduled for SEPTEMBER 22, 2005 at 1:00 P.M., at the County Operations Center, 5555 Overland Avenue, Building 10, San Diego, CA 92123. NOTICE OF PRELIMINARY DECISION TO
APPROVE A SOURCE OF AIR POLLUTION BY THE
SAN DIEGO AIR POLLUTION CONTROL DISTRICT

The San Diego County Air Pollution Control District (District) hereby gives notice that in accordance with Rule 20.2 of the DistrictÕs Rules and Regulations, the Air Pollution Control Officer has made a preliminary decision to issue Authority to Construct to Otay Water District for proposed installation of an emergency standby engine located at 1230 Eastlake Parkway, Chula Vista, CA 91915.
A preliminary decision has been made to allow operation for testing and maintenance of the emergency standby engine for 50 hours per year.
An evaluation of the air pollution impacts of this proposal was performed by the District. Air quality impact analysis of oxides of nitrogen was conducted pursuant to District Rule 20.2. Results indicate that the operation of the equipment will not result in the violation of any State or Federal ambient air quality standard. It was determined that all the other applicable District Rules and Regulations will be met when the equipment complies with conditions prescribed by the District. The Air Quality Analysis is available for review at the Air Pollution Control District, 9150 Chesapeake Drive, San Diego, CA 92123.
Written comments concerning the DistrictÕs proposed action may be submitted to the Air Pollution Control District, 9150 Chesapeake Drive, San Diego, CA 92123, for a period of 30 days, commencing on September 21, 2005, and ending October 20, 2005.

The County of San Diego, Owner, invites sealed bids for HILLSDALE ROAD PRECAST BOX CULVERT, (RFB 904). Sealed bids will be received at the Office of Purchasing and Contracting, Lobby Front Desk, County Operations Center, 5555 Overland Avenue, Suite 1111 (Bldg 11), San Diego, California, 92123-2149, until 2:00 p.m. on October 13, 2005, at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud. The project is located in the vicinity of Rancho San Diego. The cost of construction is estimated to be from $550,000 to $650,000. Work to be Done consists in general of furnishing and installing a 58-foot long, double 4-foot high by 9-foot wide precast reinforced concrete box culvert under Hillsdale Road and upstream and downstream channel improvements. Work to be Done consists in general of storm damage repair on Couser Canyon Road and on Rice Canyon Road in the vicinity of Pala.
