Notice is hereby given that application has been made to the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, 25 Jessie Street at Ecker Square, Suite 2300, San Francisco, California 94105-2780 for consent to merge First National Bank, Rancho Santa Fe, California, a wholly owned national bank subsidiary of First Community Bancorp, into Pacific Western National Bank, Santa Monica, California, another wholly owned national bank subsidiary of First Community Bancorp, with Pacific Western as the surviving entity, following (1) Pacific Western's conversion into a California state-chartered bank and (2) the merger of Community National Bank, Escondido, California into First National (with First National as the surviving entity). Following the conversion, the proposed name of the converted bank will be Pacific Western Bank.
It is contemplated that the main office and branch offices of Pacific Western will continue to operate. It is contemplated that the main office and branch offices of First National will continue to operate, with the exception of the Community National branch office located at 1101 California Avenue, Suite 101, Corona, California, which First National will acquire in connection with the merger of Community National into First National. Such branch may be consolidated with Pacific Western's branch office located at 1050 West Sixth Street, Corona, California.
Any person wishing to comment on this application regarding the merger of First National with and into Pacific Western may file his or her comments in writing with the Division of Supervision and Consumer Protection of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation at: Regional Director, John F. Carter, 25 Jessie Street at Ecker Square, Suite 2300, San Francisco, California 94105-2780 within 30 days of the date of first publication of this notice. The nonconfidential portions of the application are on file at the appropriate FDIC office and are available for public inspection during regular business hours. Photocopies of the nonconfidential portion of the application file will be made available upon request.
This notice is published pursuant to 12 USC 1828(c). This notice will appear three times at approximately two-week intervals over a 25-day period beginning September 12, 2006 and ending October 6, 2006.

PURSUANT TO EDUCATION CODE SECTION 17469, NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on September 19, 2006, the Board of Education of the Santee School District (“Board”) adopted Resolution No. 0607-07, entitled RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF EDUCATION OF THE SANTEE SCHOOL DISTRICT DECLARING THE BOARD'S INTENTION TO SELL THE SANTEE SCHOOL SITE AND ESTABLISHING A DATE AND TIME IN WHICH TO RECEIVE AND CONSIDER PROPOSALS FOR THE PURCHASE OF THE SITE (“Resolution”). The Board of Education has determined the minimum price for the 13.18-acre parcel of real property located at 10335 Mission Gorge Road and identified as San Diego County Assessor Parcel Nos. 384-091-01, 384-091-13 and 384-091-14 (“Subject Property”) will be $14,000,000. The “Terms of Sale,” along with the proposed purchase agreement, are fully set forth in the Resolution, a copy of which may be obtained by contacting Mr. Bill Clark, Asst. Superintendent, Bus. Serv., 9625 Cuyamaca Street, Santee, California 92071 (619) 258-2320. The Terms of Sale include, but are not limited to, (1) Bids to be all cash; (2) Property to be sold in "As-Is" condition with no warranties or representations as to condition, expressed or implied; and (3) Buyer to complete all due diligence within 60 days of bid openings, absent specified extensions. Bidders shall be prepared to enter into a purchase agreement substantially in the form of Exhibit C to the Resolution. All sealed bid proposals must be received by the District no later than 3:30 p.m. on Monday, October 16, 2006, the day prior to the Board's opening of bids. All bid proposals shall be submitted in a sealed envelope marked “Sealed Bid Proposal for October 17, 2006 Santee School Site Bid” and delivered to Mr. Clark at the address specified above. All bid proposals must be submitted on the “Bid Form” set forth in the Resolution. Written bids shall be opened, and oral bids shall be received, at the October 17, 2006 meeting of the Board, commencing at 7:00 p.m., or as soon thereafter as reasonably possible.
