  As a property owner, tenant, or person who has requested notice, please be advised that the Hearing Officer will hold a public hearing to approve, conditionally approve, or deny an application for a Map Waiver and a request to waive the requirements to under grounding overhead utilities to create nine residential condominiums (eight under construction, one existing) on a 0.11 acre site at 4147 Bachman Place in the MR-800B Zone of Mid City Communities Planned District within the Mid City Community Plan, Residential Tandem Parking, Transit Area, FAA Part 77.
  The decision of the Hearing Officer is final unless appealed to the Planning Commission.  In order to appeal the decision you must be present at the public hearing and file a speaker slip concerning the application or have expressed interest by writing to the Hearing Officer before the close of the public hearing. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of San Diego will receive bids for work at the Purchasing and Contracting Department, Contracts Division, 1200 Third Avenue, Suite 200, San Diego, California, where bids are to be submitted prior to time specified. Plans and specifications can be obtained from The City of San Diego's website: http://www.sandiego.gov/bids-contracts. A pre-bid meeting and/or pre-bid visit to the work site will be held, if indicated, at the time and place specified in the contract documents. Prospective bidders are encouraged to attend these sessions.
It is the policy of the City of San Diego to encourage equal opportunity in its construction, consultant, material and supply contracts. Bids/proposals from small businesses, minority-owned, disabled, veteran-owned businesses, women-owned businesses and local firms are strongly encouraged. PRE-SUBMITTAL MEETING. A Pre-submittal meeting will be held on October 13, 2010 at 10:00A. M. at 1200 Third Ave., Suite 200, Conference Room 1, San Diego, CA, 92101.
The City of San Diego, Engineering & Capital Projects Department (E&CP) is requesting Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) for Design-Build services for the DESIGN-BUILD SEDIMENTATION BASINS REHABILITATIONS 1 TO 12 AT THE PT LOMA WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT. This Request for Statement of Qualifications (RFQ) is the first step in the City of San Diego's (City) procurement process for the selection of a qualified Design-Builder for the Project. The Design-Builders will be issued RFQ's for this project pursuant to public advertisement for the Project. The City will not reimburse the Design-Builders for costs incurred in the preparation, submittal and participation in the RFQ process.
Work and Services required of the Design-Builder include those during design, construction, and startup of the Project. The Design-Builder shall provide all management, supervision, labor, services, temporary facility, equipment, tools, supplies, and any other item of every kind and description required for the complete design, construction, and start-up of the Project.
