Notice is hereby given that the Council and the City of San Diego will consider an ordinances pursuant to Section 99 of the Charter of the City of San Diego authorizing the Mayor or his designee to execute a first Amendment to Agreement with RJC Architects for the Architectural and Design Services for the La Jolla Children's Pool Lifeguard Station to increase this contract by $71,250.00; and Authorize the expenditure of $71,250 from CIP # S-00644, La Jolla Children's Pool Lifeguard Station, for the purpose of executing this first amendment to the agreement, contingent upon the City Comptroller first certifying fund availability. Consideration of the ordinance will take place at the regular City Council meeting on September 07, 2010, in the City Administration Building, council chambers, 12th floor, 202 C Street San Diego CA 92101. Community Development Block Grant
Third Substantial Amendment to the
Fiscal Year 2009 Annual Action Plan
The City of San Diego was awarded $14,852,251 in Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds in Fiscal Year (FY) 2009. Of these CDBG funds, the San Diego Housing Commission was allocated a total of $1,277,478 for various housing and public facilities projects. The San Diego Housing Commission has requested the reallocation of $1,097,478 of these FY 2009 CDBG funds to the Parker-Kier Apartments Rehabilitation Project. The proposed reallocation of these funds would require the submission of a Third Substantial Amendment to the City of San Diego's FY 2009 Annual Action Plan to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). An electronic copy of the report summarizing the proposed reallocation and Third Substantial Amendment will be posted on the City's CDBG website at from August 11 - September 14, 2009.

The proposed reallocation and Third Substantial Amendment will be considered by City Council during their regularly scheduled meeting on September 13th or 14th, 2010 at:

PLEASE ACCEPT THIS AS A NOTICE TO INFORM YOU, as a property owner, tenant or interested citizen, that the Council of The City of San Diego, California will conduct a public hearing, as part of a scheduled City Council meeting,

  SUBJECT:  Community Plan Amendment (CPA), Planned Development Permit (PDP), Site Development Permit (SDP) for Environmentally Sensitive Lands (ESL), Easement Abandonment, Vesting Tentative Map (VTM), and Rezone from RS-1-14 to IP-2-1 for a new, 15-story office building with deviations for retaining walls and rear setbacks.  The 15?story, above-ground office building would be approximately 398,000 square feet.  The proposed project also includes construction of a six-level parking structure (one?and?a?half levels subterranean).  This development would occur within the approximately 5.29-acre project site.  The project is a portion of the larger La Jolla Centre site, and, the project proposal also addresses access needs for the new building and parking structure in the context of the entire 10.82-acre La Jolla Centre site.

Sewer and Water Group 792: CITY COUNCIL APPROVAL to allow for the replacement of 7,276 (LF) of existing 6 and 8 inch sewer mains with new 8-inch polyvinyl chloride (PVC) sewer pipe. 350 LF of new 8-inch sewer mains would be installed in new trenches. In addition, the project would replace 5,895 LF of 6 and 8 inch existing cast iron water pipe with new 8 and 12 inch PVC pipe. The trench depth for both the sewer and water lines would vary from 7-15 feet deep depending on the site's topography. Also included in the scope of work would be the construction of curb ramps, the replacement of sewer and water laterals, and street resurfacing. Group 792 is located in the Southeastern San Diego Community Plan area within the Encanto neighborhood.
