NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS
The County of San Diego, Owner, invites bids for Construction of Collier Park Soccer Arena; PROJECT 1014130 (RFB 4677).
Sealed bids will be received at the Office of Purchasing and Contracting, at 10089 Willow Creek Rd, Ste. 150, San Diego, 92131, until 2:00 PM on September, 28 2010, at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud. Contract documents including Plans, Specifications and Bid Forms are available for download on the County Buynet site: http://buynet.sdcounty.ca.gov .You must be registered at the site in order to download documents. The Contractor shall possess, at the time of submitting the bid, a California contractor's license, Classification A, General Engineering Contractor or Classification B, General Building Contractor. There is a pre-bid meeting scheduled for 10:00 am on September 10, 2010 at 626 E. Street, Ramona, CA 92065. The cost of construction is estimated to be from $350,000 to $425,000. Bid security of no less than 10% required at time of bid. Successful bidder shall provide Payment and Performance Bonds for 100% of the contract amount. Prevailing Wage rates apply. The Owner, as a matter of policy, encourages Disabled Veterans Business Enterprise (DVBE) participation for this project.
