PLEASE ACCEPT THIS AS A NOTICE TO INFORM YOU, as a property owner, tenant or interested citizen, that the Council of The City of San Diego, California will conduct a public hearing, as part of a scheduled City Council meeting, on the following project:
Matter of the appeal by Randy Berkman, River Valley Preservation Project (RUPP), Lynn Mulholland, Mission Valley Community Council (MVCC), James A. Peugh, San Diego Audubon Society and Evelyn Shively, Sierra Club, of the Planning Commission's decision in approving an application for a Site Development Permit to construct an approximately 10,000 square-foot addition for an exhibit hall on the existing parking area of the Hanalei Hotel at 2270 Hotel Circle.
COMMUNICATIONS
This item may begin at any time after the time specified. Any interested person may address the City Council to express support or opposition to this issue. Time allotted to each speaker is determined by the Chair and, in general, is limited to three (3) minutes; moreover, collective testimony by those in support or opposition shall be limited to no more than fifteen (15) minutes total per side.

As a property owner, tenant or person who has requested notice, you should know that the Planning Commission will hold a public hearing to approve, conditionally approve, or deny an application for the conversion of eight (8) existing residential units to condominiums at 3918 Mississippi Street, including a waiver of the requirement to underground the existing overhead utilities. Should the condominium conversion project be approved, tenants may be required to vacate the premises. No units may be sold in this building unless the conversion is approved by the city and until after a public report is issued by the Department of Real Estate. Each tenant has the exclusive right to contract for the purchase of his or her respective unit upon the same terms and conditions that such unit will be initially offered to the general public or terms more favorable to the tenant. The right shall run for a period of not less than 90 days from the date of issuance of the subdivision public report pursuant to Section 11018.2 of the Business and Professions Code, unless the tenant gives prior written notice of his or her intention not to exercise the right.
