The County of San Diego, Owner, invites sealed bids for CONSTRUCTION OF TRUNK D SEWER IMPROVEMENTS; ORACLE PROJECT NO. 1015299; BID No. 5872
Sealed bids will be received at the Office of Purchasing and Contracting, Front Desk (where it will be time stamped to indicate time of receipt) 5560 Overland Avenue, Suite 270, San Diego, CA, 92123-1294, until 2:00 p.m. on January 23, 2013, at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud. Contract Documents including Plans, Specifications and Bid Forms are available to be downloaded free of charge, from the Department of Purchasing and Contracting Buynet website at: http://buynet.sdcounty.ca.gov. Registration is required at this site in order to download documents. The Contractor shall possess, at the time of submitting the bid, a California contractor's license, Classification A, General Engineering Contractor. The cost of construction is estimated to be from $1,500,000 - $1,600,000. Bid security of no less than 10% required at time of bid. Successful bidder shall provide Payment and Performance Bonds of 100% of the awarded contract amount. State Prevailing and Federal Minimum Wage Rates rates apply. The Owner, as a matter of policy, encourages the participation of disabled veteran owned businesses.
