The County of San Diego, Owner, invites bids for MODULAR BUILDING PURCHASE & INSTALLATION ORACLE PROJECT NO. 1016139; BID No. 5845.
Sealed bids will be received at the Office of Purchasing and Contracting, at 5560 Overland Avenue, Ste. 270, San Diego, 92123, until 2:00 PM on February 28, 2013, at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud. Contract documents including Plans, Specifications and Bid Forms are available for download on the County Buynet site: http://buynet.sdcounty.ca.gov.You must be registered at the site in order to download documents. A pre-bid conference is scheduled for this project, details can be found on buynet. The Contractor shall possess, at the time of submitting the bid, a California contractor's license, Classification B, General Building Contractor. The cost of construction is estimated to be from $180,000.00 to $200,000.00. Bid security of no less than 10% required at time of bid. Successful bidder shall provide Payment and Performance Bonds for 100% of the contract amount. Prevailing Wage rates apply. The Owner, as a matter of policy, encourages Disabled Veterans Business Enterprise (DVBE) participation for this project.
