The County of San Diego, Owner, invites bids for MODULAR BUILDING PURCHASE & INSTALLATION ORACLE PROJECT NO. 1016139; BID No. 5845.

Sealed bids will be received at the Office of Purchasing and Contracting, at 5560 Overland Avenue, Ste. 270, San Diego, 92123, until 2:00 PM on February 28, 2013, at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud. Contract documents including Plans, Specifications and Bid Forms are available for download on the County Buynet site: http://buynet.sdcounty.ca.gov.You must be registered at the site in order to download documents. A pre-bid conference is scheduled for this project, details can be found on buynet. The Contractor shall possess, at the time of submitting the bid, a California contractor's license, Classification B, General Building Contractor. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Diego will hold a public hearing to consider amending the San Diego County Zoning Ordinance to improve the County's off-street parking regulations which includes the following proposed adoption of an ordinance, as follows:
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE SAN DIEGO COUNTY ZONING ORDINANCE TO IMPROVE THE COUNTY'S OFF-STREET PARKING REGULATIONS
HEARING INFORMATION:
BOARD OF SUPERVISORS

PROJECT DESCRIPTION AND LOCATION: An Ordinance amending the San Diego County Zoning Ordinance to improve the County's off-street parking regulations. The proposed ordinance amendments would apply to all unincorporated portions of the County of San Diego over which the County has land use jurisdiction.
SUMMARY OF ORDINANCE: This Zoning Ordinance Amendment involves an update to the off-street parking regulations. The County's off-street parking regulations have not been updated since 1985, are not consistent with contemporary requirements for parking area design, and do not adequately address a broad range of land uses. A comprehensive update to the off-street parking regulations is needed to reflect current and reasonable parking requirements for the various land use types that exist throughout the unincorporated County, to improve upon the organization of the parking standards to make them easier to read, understand, and enforce, to incorporate new standards for parking design and sustainability, and to implement General Plan goals and policies.
ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW: It is recommended that the proposal be determined to be exempt from environmental review under Section 15061(b)(3) of the State CEQA Guidelines, because it can be seen with certainty there is no possibility that the activity in question may have a significant effect on the environment.
PLANNING COMMISSION RECOMMENDATION: On June 8, 2012 (Item 2), the Planning Commission, by a vote of 5 in favor, 0 opposed, and 2 absent, recommended that the Board of Supervisors adopt the subject ordinance.
GENERAL INFORMATION: This public hearing is accessible to individuals with disabilities. If interpreter services for the hearing impaired are needed, please call the Americans With Disabilities Coordinator at (619) 531-5205or California Relay Service, if notifying by TDD, no later than seven days prior to the date of the hearing.
If you challenge the Board's action in court, you may be limited to raising only those issues you or someone else raised at a public hearing, or in written correspondence delivered to the Hearing Body at or before the hearing. Rules of the Hearing Body may limit or impose requirements on the submittal of such written correspondence.
