Notice is hereby given that proposals will be received by the North County Transit District at NCTD, 810 Mission Avenue, Oceanside, CA 92054, up to 5:00pm, Friday, March 15, 2013 for Audit Services .
 
The RFP document is available at no charge only upon email request to dtomaino@nctd.org.  Include your company contact information (name, address, phone, fax and email of the person responsible for receiving the RFP and any subsequent addenda) in your email request.  The document will be provided in PDF format by return email.

NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS CALLING FOR BIDS

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that San Diego County Superintendent of Schools of San Diego County, California, hereinafter referred to as SDCOE, will receive up to, but not later than 10:00 A.M. (PST) of March 19, 2013 , sealed bids for the award of a contract(s) for:

CAMP CUYAMACA SLOPE RENOVATION PROJECT

Bids shall be received in the office of the Purchasing/Contracts Supervisor, Building 5, Room 501, San Diego County Office of Education, 6401 Linda Vista Road, San Diego, CA 92111. Bids will be opened on this day and hour with a recap of submitted pricing being available at a later date. Bids received after this time will be returned unopened. Parking is limited so plan accordingly. Oral, telephone, facsimile, or electronic submission of bids will not be accepted.

All Bidding Questions and Requests for Clarification of the bidding process will only be accepted in writing via e-mail to ATTN: Carolyn Harness, Bid Administrator, charness@sdcoe.net or bids@sdcoe.net. Questions for technical specifications should be directed via e-mail to Project Manager Joanne Branch, jbranch@sdcoe.net. The deadline for bid questions is 4:30 P.M. March 7, 2013.

Each bid must conform and be responsive to this invitation, using SDCOE forms: Bid Bond, Bid Securities, Contract Documents and all plans, specifications and any other documents comprising the pertinent Contract Documents, copies of which are now on file and may be obtained at cost after February 18, 2013 from Mayer Reprographics, phone number 619 295 4112. Information can be obtained online at www.mayer.com by selecting “Projects Bidding”, and then selecting the folder for the project.

In contracts involving an expenditure in excess of $25,000, the successful bidder shall file a performance bond and a payment bond issued by an admitted Surety approved to conduct business in the State of California approved by SDCOE in the form set forth in the contract documents, each in the amount of 100% of the total bid price.

THERE WILL BE A MANDATORY / MUST ATTEND PRE-BID MEETING ON Monday, March 12, 2013 at 10:00 A.M. Contractors are to meet at the project site located at Cuyamaca Outdoor Education Camp, 12561 Highway 79, Descanso, CA 91916 in front of the administration building. Any contractor failing to attend pre-bid meetings will cause his/her bid to be rejected as non-responsive. Bring and review the bid documents.

The Director of Industrial Relations has determined the general prevailing rate of per diem wages in the locality in which this work is to be performed for each craft or type of worker needed to execute the contract which will be awarded to the successful bidder(s), copies of which may be obtained from the Director of Industrial Relations, Division of Labor Statistics and Research, Prevailing Wage Unit, PO Box 420603, San Francisco, CA 94142-0603 or at www.dir.ca.gov/disr. It shall be mandatory upon the Contractor(s) to whom the contract is awarded and upon any subcontractor under him to pay not less than the said specified rates to all workers employed by him in the execution of the contract.

Each bidder shall be a licensed contractor pursuant to the Business and Profession Code and shall be licensed in the following classification: California License Classification B-GENERAL or C-12- in the Bidder's Name and must be in good standing at the time of bid opening

Award of Bid: SDCOE intends to award a contract for this scope of work to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder that meets the terms and conditions set forth in the bid and contract documents as determined from the base bid alone by SDCOE. SDCOE reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any irregularities or informalities in any bids or in the bidding process, and to judge the merit and qualifications of the bidder and of the equipment and services offered.

No bidder may withdraw his bid for a period thirty (30) calendar days after the date set for the opening of bids.

Chase Avenue Family Health Center - HVAC Upgrade Project

Family Health Centers of San Diego(owner) invites sealed bids from general contractors for providing the design, labor, and materials necessary for adding one new HVAC unit and updating the ductwork at the Chase Avenue Family Health Center.

This project is funded in whole or in part by the City of El Cajon Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program and as such is subject to the wage regulations of the Davis-Bacon Act.

A mandatory meeting with the owner representative will be held at the job site, 1111 West Chase Avenue; El Cajon, CA 92020, February 21, 2013 at 3:00pm, to review project details.
