NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
On Tuesday, March 5, 2013 the Board of Port Commissioners of the San Diego
Unified Port District will hold a public hearing on the following matter:
ADOPT AN ORDINANCE AMENDING PARKING RATES AT THE NAVY PIER PUBLIC PARKING LOT
Port District staff will present the following recommendations to the Board:
Request the Board approve the following parking rates at the Navy Pier public parking lot:
$5.00 for one hour Midway vendor parking
$10.00 for up to twelve hours and Midway overnight educational programs
$20.00 for special events
Monthly rates will remain the same at $145 to $180.
The March 5, 2013 Board Meeting will be held at the Port of San Diego Administration Building, 3165 Pacific Highway, San Diego, California 92101, starting at 1:00 p.m.

Copies of the Agenda Item for the proposed Ordinance are available for review at the Port of San Diego Administration Building, 3165 Pacific Highway, San Diego, California 92101, Clerk's Office, Monday-Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Submittal of Comments
Real Estate staff is available to meet with tenants and customers in advance of the public hearing if they wish to discuss the proposed Ordinance. Persons not able to attend the Public Hearing or wishing to submit written comments for review by the Board are requested to submit them to the Real Estate Department by February 26, 2013. Written comments may be submitted by letter, fax or by e-mail and will become part of the record. Real Estate staff will give all written comments to the Board.
Persons wishing to comment on this matter may also appear at the Public Hearing and/or may present comments in writing to the Board before the hearing date. All persons wishing to testify must complete a speaker's slip (available at the Public Hearing) and submit it to the District Clerk.
