NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Grossmont Union High School District, (hereinafter the "District") of San Diego County, CA, acting by and through its Governing Board, will receive no later than 2:00 p.m. on the 12th day of April, 2012, responses from architectural firms experienced in the design of new schools to a Request for Qualifications/Proposal (hereinafter “RFQ/RFP”) for the following:

Responses shall be received in the Grossmont Union High School District's Facilities Department, 9600 1/2 Milden Street, La Mesa, CA 91942 on the date and at the time stated above. Responses must be sealed and clearly marked “RFP/RFQ Architectural Services.”

The District reserves the right to reject any or all applicants, and to waive any irregularities or informalities in the RFQ and RFP process. District is an equal opportunity employer.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Chula Vista Elementary School District of San Diego County, California (“District”), acting by and through its Board of Education (“Board”), will receive up to but not later than 10:30 A.M., April 4, 2013, sealed bids for the award of the following: Bid No. 12/13-9 WIFI ACCESS POINTS.

Each bid shall be submitted on a form obtained at the Purchasing Department of said District. Bids may be mailed via U.S. Mail, Fed Ex, UPS or other courier to: 84 East “J” Street, Chula Vista, California. Bids shall be opened and publicly read aloud at the above stated time and place. It is the bidder's responsibility to ensure its bid is received in the Purchasing Department by the date and time specified above. Any bid that is submitted after this date and time shall be deemed non-responsive and returned to the bidder unopened.

Each bid must conform and be responsive to this invitation, the Information to Bidders, the Specifications and all other documents comprising the pertinent Contract Documents. Copies of the Contract Documents are now on file and may be obtained in the District's Purchasing Department at the above address.

The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder meeting specifications. The Chula Vista Elementary School District reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any irregularities or informalities in the bids or in the bidding process.

No bidder may withdraw its bid for a period of sixty (60) days after the date set for the opening of the bids. In the event of identical bids, the Board may determine by lot which bid shall be accepted per Public Contract Code 20117.

The City of Coronado, California, invites sealed bids for a contract to perform the following service:


The project consists of power washing services within the City of Coronado, California, the locations of which are specifically described in the Scope of Work.

All sealed bid proposals must be received by the City Clerk at City Hall, 1825 Strand Way, Coronado, California 92118 AT OR BEFORE 2:00 P.M. on WEDNESDAY, APRIL 3, 2013.

Copies of the City's Request for Bids, the proposed agreement, scope of work, specifications and the standard bid forms to be used by all Bidders are available at the office of the Department of Public Services, located at 101 “B” Avenue, Coronado.

Bids will be publicly opened and read at the City Clerk's Office, at the time and date specified above. Contracts shall be awarded by the City Council to the lowest, most responsive bidder except as otherwise provided in the Coronado Municipal Code. The City Clerk shall notify the successful and unsuccessful bidders in writing.

In accordance with the Federal Prevailing Wage Rate criteria and the California Labor Code, the contractor must pay not less than prevailing wage rates as determined by the U.S. Department of Labor or the Director of Industrial Relations, whichever is higher, for all work done under this contract.
