The County of San Diego, Owner, invites bids for BRIDGE PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE PLAN (CENTRAL MOUNTAIN, NORTH COUNTY METRO, NORTH MOUNTAIN) FEDERAL AID PROJECT NO. BPMPL 5957(100); ORACLE PROJECT NO. 1015120; BID No. 5809.

Sealed bids will be received at the Office of Purchasing and Contracting, at 5560 Overland Avenue, Ste. 270, San Diego, 92123, until 2:00 PM on December 6, 2012, at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud. Contract documents including Plans, Specifications and Bid Forms are available for download on the County Buynet site: http://buynet.sdcounty.ca.gov.You must be registered at the site in order to download documents. The Contractor shall possess, at the time of submitting the bid, a California contractor's license, Classification A, General Engineering Contractor. The cost of construction is estimated to be from $320,000.00 to $370,000.00. Bid security of no less than 10% required at time of bid. Successful bidder shall provide Payment and Performance Bonds for 100% of the contract amount. Prevailing Wage rates apply. The Owner, as a matter of policy, encourages Disabled Veterans Business Enterprise (DVBE) participation for this project. The San Diego County Regional Airport Authority ("Authority") seeks proposals from firms or individuals (“Respondent”) to provide services for the effective and humane control of bird populations within the perimeter of San Diego International Airport and off site Airport properties. A draft scope of work is posted in “Exhibit A” of the draft contractor agreement set forth in the RFP document.

Pre-Submittal Conference: (Attendance is not mandatory) The meeting will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 20, 2012 in the Facilities Management Training Room located at 2415 Winship Lane, San Diego, CA 92101.

Proposal Due Date and Time: Proposals must be received by 2:00 p.m., December 6, 2012.
