Buyers of Metro Lofts condominiums are using huge savings -- up to $70,000 on select units -- on purchase price to homeowners in the downtown areas, Mark Panissidi of Del Mar Pacific Group said on Monday.
Two Ballpark District properties — Angove and Moto Villas — and three Little Italy properties — Titan, Lusso and Waterfront — comprise Metro Lofts.
Pricing begins in the high $200,000s the lofts, which offer an intriguing mix of residential, live/work spaces and mixed-use spaces. For a limited time, buyers may take advantage of the savings of up to $70,000 on select units, as well as other special incentives.
The homes also have some of the lowest HOA fees in downtown.
Angove is at 981 Island Avenue, just one block from the ballpark. A majority of the lofts capture views of San Diego Bay, the ballpark or the downtown skyline.
Moto Villas is located on the block bounded by Ninth Avenue, G Street and Tenth Avenue, three blocks from the ballpark. Soaring two-story ceilings create a sophisticated urban atmosphere.
Titan is located in the northern end of Little Italy on Grape and State Streets. All 22 of the residential lofts feature dramatic two-story volumes.
Lusso on Cedar Street and Kettner Boulevard comprises six buildings surrounding a parking courtyard. There is a mix of walk-up and row homes and some are perfect for a live/work concept.
