The buyer was Magnolia Manor LLC, a California limited liability company, P.O. Box 785, Cardiff-by- the-Sea 92007, with Patrick J. Doyle and Gregory S. Milano as managers.
The acquisition was financed with a loan of $780,000 from Santa Barbara Bank & Trust.
The sellers of the property (assessor's parcel 424-111-09) were Grant H. Slawson and Victoria H. McCaffery.
The approximately 3,512-square-foot apartment consists of 10 bedrooms and eight bathrooms.
The duplex consists of two-bedroom, one-bath units built in 1952 and six one-bedroom, one-bath units that were added in 1957. The lot is on a cul-de-sac and totals 5,750 square feet.
The property was sold in April 2009 for $800,000.
