The property was leased for 58 months at $1.32 million. The estimated move-in date is April 2013.
The lessee was represented by Dave Odmark of Cassidy Turley San Diego. The lessor was represented by Dean Asaro and Andy Irwin, also of Cassidy Turley San Diego.
The two-story, approximately 32,400-square-foot light manufacturing building at 11436 Sorrento Valley Road was constructed in 1973 on its 1.84-acre site.
In mid-2011, Halozyme leased 27,575 square feet of industrial space at 11404 and 11408 Sorrento Valley Road (seven years at $4.5 million) and 30,371 square feet at 11388 Sorrento Valley Road (seven years at $4.1 million), from BioMed Realty Trust (NYSE: BMR).
