General Atomics buys lot on Kirkham in Poway

A vacant 20.07-acre industrial lot on Kirkham Way in Poway 92064, has been sold for $18,632,000, cash.

The lot is along the north side of Kirkham, east of Stowe Drive.

The buyer was Sorrento West Properties Inc., 3550 General Atomics Court, San Diego 92121.

The seller of the property (assessor's parcel 323-500-18) was HCP LS Poway I LLC.

The buyer is an entity of General Atomics Aeronautical Systems Inc., a manufacturer of unmanned aircraft systems, and high resolution surveillance and radar imaging systems.

In late 2010, Sorrento West Properties acquired the 144,000-square-foot industrial building on 8.43 acres, at 14040 Danielson St. in Poway, for $22.23 million.
