Apartments in Golden Hill on A St. sold

The 30-unit City Garden apartment property in Golden Hill, at 2545 A St., San Diego 92102, has been sold for $3.4 million, cash.

The buyer was HS Partners LLC, 5694 Mission Center Road, Suites 602-630, San Diego 92108.

The seller of the property (assessor's parcel 534-152-250) was M&J LLC, with Ila H. Mirchandani and Haresh Mirchandani as members. The complex consists of 10 studio units, 12 one-bedroom units and eight two-bedroom units totaling 18,040 square feet.

The apartment was constructed in 1961 on a 41,966-square-foot lot.

The two-level property was sold in July 2001 for $2.15 million, financed with a loan of $1.14 million from Citibank, and again in March 2004 for $3.25 million, with financing of $1.35 million from Union Bank.
