Apartments on Zenith in Chula Vista sold

The Burkhart Apartments, a 12-unit complex at 382 Zenith St. in Chula Vista 91911, has been sold for $1.51 million.


The buyer was 382 Zenith Street, LLC, a California limited liability company, 1772 Torrance St., San Diego 92103, with the Geddes-Christensen Family Trust, Dale E. Christensen trustee, as member.

The acquisition was financed with a loan of $1,057,000 from JPMorgan Case Bank (NYSE: JPM).

The seller of the property (assessor's parcel 623-181-25-00) was Kreutzkamp 2000 Revocable Trust, with Charles Frederick Kreutzkamp as trustee.

The buyer and seller were represented by Chris Zorbas, first vice president of investments, of Marcus & Millichap.

The approximately 11,916-rentable-square-foot building was constructed in 1978 on a 17,860-square-foot lot. The apartment consists entirely of two-bedroom, one-bath units. The property last sold in 2005 for $1.4 million.
