Davidson to open six homes at The Estates

Del Mar-based Davidson Communities will unveil six fully appointed homes on Saturday during the grand opening of The Estates at San Elijo Hills, a gated enclave of 10 luxury custom and semi-custom homes.

With up to five bedrooms, 6.5 baths and three- or four-car garages, homes at The Estates range from 4,638 to 6,007 square feet on home sites measuring a minimum of 20,000 square feet.

Evoking the layout and architecture of California coastal cities in the early 1900s, The Estate features a mix of Craftsman, Spanish, Prairie, Tuscan, Italian Renaissance and French Country design. Priced from the low $1 million-range, The Estates has low Mello Roos fees.

The six homes opening on Saturday are offered as “turnkey” residences and are fully upgraded with flooring, countertops, as well as front and rear yard landscaping. Four additional homes present the opportunity for greater customization of upgrades and features.

Popular features include interior courtyards, outdoor decks and casitas -- while oversized rooms can accommodate a variety of special uses, such as a library, theatre, retreat or tech zone.

San Elijo Hills is a 1,920-acre, master-planned community.
