Strip center in Clairemont on Denver sold

The approximately 9,040-square-foot Denver Street Plaza retail strip in Clairemont at 2503 Denver St., San Diego 92010, has been sold for $1,958,000.

The buyer was Denver Street SD LLC, a California limited liability company, 2674 Costebella Drive, La Jolla 92037.

The Ghamaty 1996 Trust is the manager of Denver Street. Ahmad Ali Ghamaty and Pari Ghamaty are the trustees of the trust.

The acquisition was financed with a loan of $1 million from Wells Fargo Bank.

The seller of the property (assessor's parcel 430-030-25) was Shasta Holdings LLC, a California limited liability company. Daniel F. McCarthy and Cheryl L. McCarthy are the members of Shasta Holdings.

The center was constructed in 1969 on an 18,221-square-foot lot.

In March 2006, the property sold for $2,025,000 with financing of $850,000 from Bank of America (NYSE: BAC).
